We have chosen our carbon neutral Assam CTC black tea as our tea base and carefully added ground spices. This style of blending achieves maximum flavour from the spices and will not over brew the tea leaf in the process. The fine spices in this make it most suited to brewed in milk or milk alternative. The barista's choice for a chai like you will get in your favourite cafe. Tea (Assam), Liquorice Root, Star Anise , Cinnamon, Ginger Root, Coriander, Bay Leaf, Cloves, Cardamom, Black Pepper, Fennel seeds. Brewing Instructions 5g tea : 250ml water | 250ml milk Temp : 100°C Simmer tea in water for 4- 5 minutes. Add milk or milk alternative Continue to simmer for 2 minutes. Strain into cup and add sweetener of your choice.
