At The 2nd Chance Manual Therapy, we believe that everyone deserves the second chance—because no one should be told to “just live with the pain.” Jack created this clinic for those who’ve heard that phrase too many times, for those who feel like they’ve tried everything. 
Meet Jack Chen (Jia Jyun Chen) — founder, manual therapist, and the hands and heart behind the clinic. Originally from Taiwan, Jack began practicing manual therapy in 2007 and brings over 17 years of hands-on experience in manual therapy. Jack is specialized in assisting patients suffering from some chronic muscles problems.

This treatment package is designed for individuals suffering from myofascial pain syndrome, muscle overuse, or acute sports injuries.
The session begins with a brief 5-minute assessment, followed by a tailored combination of remedial massage (myofascial release) and dry needling therapy.
The exact time allocation for each component will vary depending on your muscle condition and assessment results, ensuring a fully customized treatment experience.

Unlike traditional dry needling techniques that involve prolonged needle retention, Jack specializes in a dynamic and fast-paced needling approach that promotes effective muscle release and recovery.

Please Note:
Dry needling is not suitable for clients with blood disorders (including those taking anticoagulant medications), those undergoing cancer treatment, or pregnant individuals.
If you are unsure whether this therapy is appropriate for you, please consult your GP before booking.

The second Chance also provides home services for people who need. $110 Per hour. $10 ea session for public holidays and weekends surcharge. This service appt must be made at least 24 hrs in advance.Travel fees may apply.  

Jack will bring a professional massage table, so you do not need to provide one. Please ensure there is a flat,clear space of at least 2.3 m* 1.6m. If there is no elevator and more than one flight of stairs, please let us know in advance so Jack can plan accordingly.
