Kinesiotherapy, known as movement therapy, utilises exercise prescription and other treatment modalities to help correct muscle imbalances, recover from injuries, prevent injuries, and improve functional limitations.
During the Initial Assessment, we conduct a variety of tests and assessments to get a better understanding of the injury or movement limitation. The results of the initial assessment aid in developing a program/plan for recovery of injury or correction of movement. 

Kinesiotherapy/Movement Therapy-Initial Assessment

During Follow Ups, in addition to a structured exercise and mobility program, we use various massage tools and techniques to continue to aid your recovery.

Kinesiotherapy/Movement Therapy-Follow Up

This technique works by breaking down adhesions in muscular tissue through massage. Using the aid of stretching methods and the use of various tools, this treatment helps to mobilise muscles.
Some benefits of soft tissue mobilisation include enhanced recovery, increased mobility, and improved circulation.
Some of the tools used include; a percussion gun, cupping cups, Graston tool, or muscle stimulator.

Soft Tissue Mobilisation

Same as initial soft tissue mobilisation treatment. However, a follow-up has to be done within 3 weeks of the initial treatment.

Soft Tissue Mobilisation- Follow Up

This method uses stretching techniques with mobility exercises and myofascial release to help reduce muscular/fascial tension. The focus of the movements will be to target specific muscle groups to help relieve pressure at the joint(s). 
Some benefits of stretch therapy include boosting flexibility and your range of motion while in general improving functional mobility.
