Manual Lymphatic drainage has become a popular treatment, it has powerful cleansing, relaxing, pain relieving and immunological effects. The technique is different to traditional massage techniques. In its manual form, it is a gentle, flowing, rhythmic massage.

It is used primarily to promote the optimal functioning of the lymphatic vessels that lead to the circulatory system. Manual Lymphatic drainage techniques facilitate the removal of metabolic wastes, excess water, toxins, bacteria, large protein molecules and foreign substances from tissue via the initial lymph vessels and the venous capillaries.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Deep tissue involves using firm pressure with slow strokes to reach deeper levels of muscle and fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds the muscles. Massage techniques are used to break up scar tissue and break down muscle knots or adhesions.

Reflexology is the technique of applying pressure to the reflex points of your feet or hands to bring about a state of deep relaxation and to stimulate the body’s own healing processes. It is a natural therapy that can also facilitate more vital energy, help boost the immune system and create a stronger body and calmer mind. The theory underlying Reflexology is that the organs, nerves, glands and other parts of the body are connected to the reflex areas or reflex points on the feet and hands. These areas are found on the sole of the feet and palms of the hands. The Hydro facial treatment incorporates natural AHA’s and BHA’s to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin. It’s combined with an active targeted serum for specific skin concerns.  

The exfoliating peel readies the skin for the infusion of serums, which will be personalised to your specific skin concern. When applied with vacuum action, these ingredients, suspended in a water based serum, penetrate the skin more effectively. Hydro Facial

Ear candling is an ancient treatment that goes right back as far and maybe further than the

Ear Candling

Microdermabrasion is a deep exfoliation using a stream of irregularly shaped micro-crystals that gently abrade and remove the outermost layer of the skin. It also has vacuum action that stimulates circulation and increases blood flow to the area. The production of collagen and elastin is also stimulated, improving skin texture and elasticity. Results after one treatment will be a brighter, clearer, glowing complexion. Microdermabrasion is used to treat a number of skin problems such as Fine lines and wrinkles, acne and acne scarring, large pores and black heads, pigmentation and scarring. When treating skin concerns, a weekly 10 day course of 3, 6 to 8 treatments is recommended. The intensity of treatment increases per session as skin adapts and renews itself, allowing to reach the deeper dermal layers of the skin. Courses of treatments will be discounted.

Your feet will then be placed in a foot bowl with Lavender, fresh mint and crystal foot soak. Leaving feet feeling refreshed and invigorated. While the feet soak, I will make a beverage of your choice, with a light treat. An Organic Foot Scrub with naturally occurring Himalayan mineral crystals and dead sea salt will be used to exfoliate the feet to remineralise and remove dry, hard skin. You will then be escorted to the bed where you can lye up and relax. Hard skin will be rasped, nails filed, and cuticle work will be carried out. An Organic Cuticle oil with rich with bioactive oils soften cuticles. If you choose to have a gel polish, nails will then be buffed and your choice of colour will be applied. If you don’t wish to have gel polish, nails will be buffed and shined and finished with gel polish.

Foot Treatments/pedicures

Hot stone massage combines the benefits of hydrotherapy and thermotherapy (the use of heat applications) with massage strokes, using stones to create a deep, relaxing and healing treatment. 
Using the heat of the stones to warm the skin allows the skin to absorb moisturising therapeutic oils, while at the same time preparing the musculature of the body so the the therapist can work deeper into the muscles.

It is generally accepted that one stroke of a heated basalt stone is equivalent to 5-10 strokes of the therapists hand.

Myofascial Release is a specialised treatment that release's restrictions within the fascial network (connective tissue), enabling stuck, hardened and dehydrated areas to become pliable, soft, mobile and hydrated.
You, the client may or may not feel much happening, but will feel “freer” or “lighter” after a treatment. Benefits: increased energy, increased breathing capacity, restore muscle function and postural alignment, relieve physical and emotional strain, help’s balance the body and promote self-healing and relaxation.
This massage works well along with Deep Tissue Massage.
