The service was excellent and I felt safe. My only disappointment was that the price of a manicure and pedicure has increased £12 from £58 to £70. I have not received a pay rise at work!

Christine was great and did a fantastic job on my legs, underarm, bikini, chin, lip and eyebrow wax, Luxury pedicure and finger nails. As I haven't been for along time she put me at ease and said just to say stop if waxing was too much. We had a good laugh about anything and everything. She also advised me where to go for a Christmas tree The Range and also to go to Hornsea Garden Centre for Christmas decorations. Many thanks Christine and will seeing you in a few weeks.

I loved my time at the Bothy. It’s a beautiful calm location to have treatments in, and Ash my therapist was just lovely and chatty but also happy to leave me to my deep relaxation! I had the Bothy Retreat package of pedicure, gel manicure and the most wonderful facial. I will most definitely go back to the Bothy- such a treat!

Lived in Huntington all my life and have never been to this salon until after the rebrand and I would highly recommend it!! The staff are very friendly and made me feel very welcomed. I had the luxury Elim pedicure which was beyond my expectations.

There are various types of pedicure, and the cost depends on which one you choose. In The Groves, you should expect to pay between £15 and £55.
To help maintain optimal foot health, pedicurists recommend having a pedicure once every 3-4 weeks.
It depends on the type of pedicure you choose and how indulgent a treatment you want to have, but typically a pedicure takes between 30-90 minutes.
Pedicures can minimise the risk of fungal infection and improve your circulation. The exfoliation techniques used during a pedicure remove dead skin cells, and the massage element boosts circulation and reduces the risk of cracked heels and calluses. Pedicures also leave your feet feeling softer and looking great, too.
Traditionally, a pedicure begins by bathing your feet in warm water to soften the skin. An exfoliating foot rub is then used to slough off dead skin, before toenails are trimmed and shaped. Some pedicurists will massage your feet and lower legs to aid relaxation before applying a moisturising cream, oil or wrap.
The treatment ends with the application of nail polish – in your choice of colour – to your toenails. Dermatologists do not recommend the cutting of cuticles, as it can lead to infection, so ask your pedicurist to clean, but not cut, your cuticles.
Pedicures that use traditional nail polish should last about one week; those using gel or shellac polish typically last 2-3 weeks.
