Visited blossom for micro blading top up and have nails redone with builder gel and polish. Emma as always did a fantastic job on eyebrows and nails, staff are all very friendly and salon is cosy and comfortable, also had hair done by Olivia at weekend and she was fab as well.

Had my infills done amazing as usual and also got a brow wax and tint also lashes can easily say they are the best lashes I've had. Shweta is amazing at what she does now I will definitely be getting them done along side my nails every month

After a stressful few weeks Amy listened attentively to my concerns before deciding on a suitable mix of aromatherapy oils. The smell was divine and the massage was amazing. I felt so much better afterwards - so relaxed, so much so that I hadn't realised how stressed I had been until the massage was complete!

Just had a gel pedicure done by Maisie who was fab and thorough in what she was doing, I am so happy with the finished result. Maisie was chatty and friendly and i would highly recommend her.

I can’t fault the salon at all, the service is always top-notch and the service is always friendly. Thoroughly enjoy coming in for my nails every 3/4 weeks and I always leave feeling amazing. Gel Nails FAQs
Gel nails cost between £5 and £33 in Silksworth.

Although gel manicures look beautiful, they can cause your natural nails to become brittle. The American Academy of Dermatology reports that repeated use of gel nails can increase the risk of skin cancer and the premature ageing of skin on the hands.
Gel and shellac nails both cure under UV light, but their composition is different. Gel nail polish is a lacquer made from acrylic monomers and oligomers; shellac polish is part gel, part regular nail polish, and is a patented brand by Creative Nail Design (CND). Gel nails tend to give a more natural and glossier finish than acrylic nails; they are cured under a UV lamp and last for around 2 weeks. Acrylic nails are stronger than gels and start to cure as soon as they’re exposed to air; they generally last for 6-8 weeks but will need fills after 2 weeks to hide regrowth. Both can be used to lengthen nails and both can damage your natural nails.
Once every 2 weeks. Gel nails cure (harden) in UV light; this means they continue to cure in natural sunlight. The longer you keep your polish on, the longer it cures and the harder it is to remove. To reduce the risk of stripping and damaging your nails, it’s recommended that you book in with an experienced nail technician to remove and redo your gel nail polish every 2 weeks.
