Best Blow Dries and Blowouts in Crown Heights, New York

Lauren is phenomenal. She washed my hair twice, conditioned, and detangled my hair before blow drying it and finishing with a silk press. I was there at noon and was on my way home around 1pm. I’d definitely recommend her work

So I had a silk press appointment 9/25/21 @9Am with Cece. First of all she came on time and greeted me very nicely. Started washing my hair which was nice and she even gave a little scalp massage at the end. She took her time detangling and blow drying my hair and then trimmed and styled it. Overall experience was wonderful and I would definitely recommend and would come back.

Being that I’m new to the area I was super nervous about finding the right salon. I was experiencing dry scalp & hair breakage. The environment at pressed studio was welcoming & warm. Everyone wore their masks properly. Cece was so polite & suggested a dry scalp treatment & silk press which turned out to be everything my hair needed! Antoine did his thing on my hair! The entire treatment process felt amazing & I could hear my scalp saying “aahhh” immediately. I will definitely be returning once a month. Thank you all!

I had an excellent experience, especially for my first time at a salon and my first time putting heat on my hair in years. I was warmly welcomed immediately. Cathy did a lovely job shampooing/conditioning, constantly checking to make sure I was comfortable. She informed me of every step of the process, making sure I knew exactly what products she was using. Cathy did most of my blow drying and then my stylist JahLena took over to complete it. I got a trim and a silk press. She took progress photos for me and gave me tips on how to maintain my style. Very professional! I’ll def be back soon.

OMG, I got my haircut from Andrea and she is AMAZING. I have curly hair and havent gotten it cut since the pandemic started, PLUS I also had a baby, so it was looooong. She dry cut it and worked through my curls and did such a great job. I feel like a new person - with bouncy, well-styled, no-longer-straggly curls. THANK YOU!

always a great experience. I went there before my birthday to New Orleans. I had a blow out experience. I do not think I ever had my hair so straight since going natural. The staff is always kind and welcoming. This will not be my last time there. I definitely found a new salon.

This was an overall wonderful experience! The salon is very clean and zen. Just a super chill feeling. The receptionist was very warm and welcoming, she took my coat and offered drinks :) The salon owner Maria did my hair and she really listened to what I wanted my long term hair goal to be. She then explained how we can make that happen and did my highlights, wash & blowout in 2hrs. It really was great because, Im always on a tight schedule. After going several shades lighter my hair still felt silky smooth. She gave me a great messy blowout and I was off. Thanks again Self !!!!

I haven’t had a cut in forever, ever and I knew it was time. I booked my blow out and cut with the wonderful and talented Dailey. I had a great experience and I look forward to getting a color in the future. I appreciated that Dailey explained that 4 inches had to be cut before she got to work. I was mentally prepared for it, but it was a great heads up. And the best part was I still had mad length.

Jamila is ALWAYS on point.

Moving to a new place I was worried I’d never find a hairdresser I liked as much as my own back home - Gina exceeded all of my expectations! From the get go she was so warm and welcoming, was extremely knowledgeable about colouring and tones for my hair and even corrected my hair without hesitation when the shade wasn’t as dark as needed. She also gave me the best bouncy blow dry! So happy to have found my new favourite salon ☺️
