I saw Maria for a full balayage, she took care to understand what I was asking for and gave me a STUNNING color! She communicated clearly what to expect going from a permanent dark brown dye up to a cool blonde, and it turned out better than I think we both expected. She's a master and the salon is very nice.

Ainur took SUCH great care of me today! I had never been to this salon, but decided to come since I saw great reviews online. I showed Ainur images of what I wanted (icy blonde underlights and a face framing highlight) and she was so open and happy to help me achieve this look! My natural hair color is about a 1B/2N. I also had box dyed the bottom half of my hair blonde. It was uneven and darker than I wanted. Ainur worked on my hair for 5 hours! Carefully checking the bleach and reapplying as needed. Once finished, both other clients at the salon complimented my hair! I couldn't be happier!

My experience at Poiz Salon was nothing short of a 5 Star rating!! I’m not sure how my review I just made came up 4 Star because that is most definitely a mistake. Ainur is absolutely amazing! This is probably my fourth time going to her and I will never go anywhere else. Ainur treats the art of hair coloring like a canvas and has patiently worked with me through color correction, ombres, partials, lowlights, highlights, stubborn grays-- you name it, she's mastered it. I feel amazing every time I leave the salon and receive compliments for weeks after an appointment. Highly recommend Poiz Beauty Salon and Ainur!

Balayage FAQs
Balayage is a hair colouring technique used by colourists to hand-paint (or sweep) dye or lightener onto the midshaft of your hair. The colour is typically a few shades lighter than your base colour, and becomes denser towards the ends of your hair.
Balayage is applied without foils and results in a sun-kissed ombre effect that’s more natural than traditional foil highlights.
It depends on the look you’re going for. Balayage leaves hair with natural-looking, sun-kissed accents, whereas foil highlights are more structured. Both offer depth of colour.
Several months. Unlike traditional highlights which need roots touched-up every 6-8 weeks, balayage grows out more seamlessly, and without strong regrowth lines. This means you can wait much longer between colouring appointments.
The costs depends on whether you opt for a half head or full head of balayage; but on average you should expect to pay about $300.
No, not straight away. You should wait around three days (72 hours) after a balayage treatment before washing your hair. This gives the pigments time to settle. Your colourist may advise which products you should use to keep your locks healthy and lustrous.
Avoid washing your hair or going swimming for three days after a balayage treatment.
