Tara was lovely and kind, and really took the time to listen and get a feel for my hair before starting work. I'm always very anxious seeing someone new, but she put me completely at my ease, and was happy with the fact that I'm a low maintenance girl. (Note to anyone reading this, always be honest with your hairdresser!) She understood that I wanted to keep my long hair, and trimmed it into a very flattering style. I left the salon feeling I can take on the world! Thank you so much!

Excellent!!! friendly atmosphere, spotlessly clean and fresh salon , fantastic with my 9yr old son, Charlie made him feel really comfortable, chatted away to my son about his day etc and asked him about his hair rather than bypassing him and just asking the parent, that’s a massive positive great haircut Highly recommend this place

The atmosphere is always so warm, relaxed, welcoming and friendly. And the hair cuts are great! I have always felt out of place in 'hair salons', but I have longer hair and didn't feel like I could go to a barber's either. But I feel really comfortable and good at Roots. They have created a truly accepting and inclusive space without making a big thing of it. It's just normal. And thank you Luke for the years of great haircuts!

Roots never fails to impress. It’s definitely the best experience at a barbers I’ve had. Always welcoming. Great coffee. No click watching or making you feel rushed - and of course, the haircuts are top quality. Easily the best barbers in Exeter and (although I haven’t tested them all!), I would hazard one of the best barbers in the UK. Keep doing what you do Roots Foundation.

2nd visit to this salon today,hair done by Hollie she knew exactly what I wanted and needed, I have never felt as comfortable as I do going to her she is such a lovely girl and an amazing hairstylist, would highly recommend thank you .
