This is a no-frills salon, but the services I have had here have always been exceptional. Yesterday I had a massage and facial with Jenny, she made me feel instantly comfortable and relaxed, worked on my tight areas intuitively and did the most fantastic facial. I will definitely be back again.

What a beautiful relaxing salon. I had the most peng nail art done which I’m so thrilled with. Made my short nubby nails look incred. Brought my dog and she got all the cuddles. All in all, a pretty gorge experience. Marissa is so lovely and so talented. Love the fact the salon takes a natural non toxic approach to beauty. Such an important ethos. Love it xx

The best waxing experience I’ve had, I had Maria as my waxing technician and she was superb. Really kind and gentle, non judgemental and took her time without rushing the process. The salon is very clean and tidy, following all COVID-19 guidelines for beauty salons and I left feeling like a superstar!

Mito is a miracle worker! Every time I leave his salon I feel amazing! My hair is dry, frizzy and grey and he turns it into a beautiful, sleek cut and colour. :-)

Belinda is a fantastic hairdresser, I’m always happy when I walk out the door (which is not something I’d ever experienced before from a hairdresser!!). The salon is lovely and the atmosphere always friendly. Belinda also cut my 4year old daughter’s hair and made her feel very special (sorry I couldn’t shut her up!!). The price is really great and I love that when my style grows out my hair has been cut so well that it still looks good! Thanks for a very pleasant experience and for our fab haircuts :)

The staff are so professional. I love coming here! I have been one of Annette clients for over 3 years and I cannot recommend her enough! She has created such a wonderful salon in Highbury and not only gives you the treatments you require but also recommends other treatments and services that could cater to your skin/body needs.

Best nail salon I've been to in a while. Super professional & friendly stuff. They're using Kure Bazaar which is a non-toxic & vegan nail care brand, with a really lovely colour palette.

My technician was Hafsa and I really like her attention to detail and very kind and open manner. She always get my hands and feet looking flyyy! The energy in the whole salon is very inviting and comfortable, everyone is friendly and chatty. There is a great balance between laughter and peaceful moments. Would highly recommend <3

Manager Lyn at Beauty & Detix Spa Hornsey was so patient helpful and friendly. Therapist Saide was AMAZING. I had the most amazing Swedish massage and would highly recommend her.

Simply excellent! I am absolutely delighted I found a local salon that provides so many amazing treatments! I got a HD eyebrow done and I'm really pleased with it. I finally have the eyebrow I always wanted, well-defined, neat and suits my facial feature. I also had a ultra calming facial the next day and what a treat! It was so relaxing and yet my skin is glowing now! Thanks for the amazing experience and the results! I'm definitely going to be a regular customer there. I'd highly recommend this place, not just for a hair styling but also for other beauty treatments!

Highly recommend Beauty Retreat :) I went in for gel overlays and removal. It turns out the place I'd been to before had put some bad stuff on my nails, so it was really, really hard to get off. The nail technician took her time and made sure my nails weren't damaged in the process, so I'm really grateful to her and will definitely be going back ! thank you :)
