Watsu (R) employs Shiatsu techniques while you float in Harbin's dedicated aquatic therapy pool. The pool is at body temperature and you remain on the surface of the water at all times. Watsu (Water Shiatsu) began in 1980s when Harold Dull started floating people in Harbin's warm pool while applying the stretches and principles of the Zen Shiatsu he had studied in Japan. Since then, an entire category of treatments under the umbrella of Aquatic Bodywork has emerged. Watsu and Waterdance (TM) are two Aquatic Bodywork modalities that are available at Harbin.

WaterDance (TM) is a type of advanced aquatic bodywork which was developed in Switzerland. While wearing a nose clip, you are gently guided underwater, pulled, swayed, and "flown" while being regularly brought to the surface for breath.
