Nova Nails & Beauty is a place where you can relax and be pampered in a calm and peaceful environment. I have 15 years experience in beauty, specialising in nails, skincare treatments, brows and lash lifts. All of my treatments are carried out to the highest standard and I pride myself on my attention to detail. My aim is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for clients to relax, and leave feeling happy and confident.

To get the best, longest-lasting glow:

24 hours before your tan:
	•	Exfoliate thoroughly — focus on dry areas like knees, elbows, hands, and ankles.
	•	Shave or wax at least 24 hours before your appointment to allow pores to close.
	•	Avoid using oily scrubs or moisturisers before tanning, as they can block the tan from developing evenly.

On the day of your tan:
	•	Shower before your appointment and ensure your skin is clean, dry, and free from:
	•	Makeup
	•	Deodorant
	•	Perfume
	•	Body lotion
	•	Wear loose, dark clothing and open shoes to avoid rubbing the tan off after application.
	•	If you have long hair, bring a hair tie or clip to keep it off your neck and shoulders.
	•	Remove all jewellery before your appointment.

Extra tips:
	•	If it’s raining, bring an umbrella and loose cover-up to protect your fresh tan on the way home.
	•	Try to avoid deodorant or perfume for the rest of the day after tanning — they can interfere with colour development.

Lashes

The secret to GLOWING skin! 
This is an advanced facial treatment includes a deep cleanse, blackhead extractions, dermaplaning exfoliation, microneedling with a hydrating collagen serum and ice globe therapy with your hydrating mask. Numbing cream is used before microneedling and SPF50 is always applied at the end of every facial. 

For best results, it’s recommended to have a course of Microneedling facials - this is dependant on what are you wanting to achieve and will be discussed with you at your treatment. 

It is normal for your skin to be very red and feel slightly sunburnt for 1-2 days. Make up should not be applied for at least 24 hours after treatment so please bare this in mind when booking. Full aftercare advice will be given at your appointment. 

Dermaplaning & Microneedling Facial

This is an advanced treatment to target specific concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, poor skin texture and sun damage. 

For best results, it’s recommended to have a course of Microneedling facials - this is dependant on what are you wanting to achieve and will be discussed with you at your treatment. 

The treatment includes a double cleanse (steam is not used in microneedling treatments), light exfoliation, then numbing cream is applied before the microneedling and then a soothing mask with ice globes to cool and calm the skin. SPF50 is always applied to protect your skin after treatment. 

It is normal for your skin to be very red and feel slightly sunburnt for 1-2 days. Make up should not be applied for at least 24 hours after treatment so please bare this in mind when booking. Full aftercare advice will be given at your appointment.

The perfect option for clients just wanting their skin to feel refreshed, smooth and hydrated. 

Includes a consultation, double cleanse with steam, dermaplaning exfoliation to remove dead skin build up, hydrating mask, vitamin serum and SPF application.

Microdermabrasion is a handheld device used to remove dead skin build up from the surface of the skin. It can reduce signs of aging, and make the skin appear more even and feel smoother. The procedure is safe for all skin types and is safe to have during pregnancy/breastfeeding.
