This was my first lymphatic drainage treatment, and Kirsty really helpfully took the time to explain the treatment and its benefits to me - she knows her stuff! This treatment combines manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) techniques with the more sculpting movements associated with Brazilian lymphatic drainage. MLD is a traditional method which uses very light, rhythmic touch to stimulate the lymphatic system and encourage the natural movement of lymph fluid. 

The focus is on relaxation, whilst also providing many health benefits (e.g. detoxification, improvement in digestion and immune function), and beauty results (e.g. reduced puffiness and bloating, improved skin tone).

Pre-treatment advice:
- Drink plenty of water: For the 24 hours before your treatment it is recommended to keep very well hydrated. this will enhance the body’s detoxification process.
- Avoid heavy meals: The treatment involves abdominal massage techniques which may feel uncomfortable with a full stomach.
- Wear loose clothing: Tight clothing can restrict lymph flow. Wear loose comfortable clothing to your treatment.

Lymphatic Drainage Treatment

Swedish massage is designed to promote deep relaxation. Traditionally a light to medium pressure is used to relieve muscle tension, soothe aches and pains, and promote a sense of tranquility.  

This is a head-to-toe treatment with the goal of whole body rejuvenation. It can be modified to focus on areas which need extra care, or to leave out areas which don’t. 

This treatment will leave you leave feeling fully restored.
