Terry Abner Salon is the culmination of a vision Terry had years ago during his five-year “sabbatical” in the Windy City. In 1998 the Terry Abner Salon was born. Knocking down walls, doubling the space, hiring experienced stylists, creating a comfortable “living room” and after a few years adding a beautiful downstairs nail salon, Terry brought his vision to reality. Terry Abner Salon is a standout of consistency and happy professionals. Six of his employees have been with him for over ten years, But Terry has also mentored several younger stylists. His team keeps learning in other ways too, taking classes and attending conferences to keep up with current trends and techniques. Local artists display their artwork on his walls, and new ones appear. The salon, although housed in a period building, always appears fresh, new, and comfortable.
