Biab Overlay on Nails

We have both warm wax & hot wax available. Please add a note to your booking if you have a preference. 

To prepare your skin for waxing, avoid certain products that can increase sensitivity or interfere with the process. Specifically, refrain from using retinols, AHA's, BHA's and other chemical exfoliants at least two weeks before your waxing appointment. Acutane & acne treatments can increase skin sensitivity to waxing. 

For optimal results exfoliate the skin 24 hrs before the treatment. 
Pain killers prior to appointment is advisable if you have a low pain threshold. 

Aftercare

Avoid touching the area. Redness is normal following waxing. Any excessive redness, swelling & itching after 24hrs seek medical advice. 
Avoid heat treatments, hot showers, swimming, exercise with excessive sweating for 24hrs after treatment. Avoid tight clothing.

Moisturise daily. Exfoliate twice a week.

Acrygel Nail Extensions model appointment reduced price

If you have just gel polish and you know what brand it is on your nails pop me a message and I'll be able to make a decision if this is something that I can remove prior to a new set of gels/ biab or nail treatment. Why do I ask for this? Because there are so many brands and products out there made up of a variety of materials & chemicals - some can be soaked off & some can only be filed off. Nails that have been constantly filed/ overfilled can become weak, thin & very sore. My ethos is that any nail service should not cause damage to your nail plate or compromise it's integrity. Efiling is safe for your nails if used carefully and at a low level. It can be very difficult for me to assess your nails with acrylic & biab that does not soak off. An additional reason is that with allergies on the increase I ensure that I protect myself & my clients from the exposure to harmful chemicals that cause skin, eye & lung irritation. A brow lamination  lift is designed to enhance your natural brow hairs Using a chemical process brow hairs are lifted and set into place in an upwards curve making them appear fuller. Brow tint is applied to the brow. We have a range of tint colours including black, brown and light brown.

Aftercare

Avoid touching the area.

Any excessive redness, swelling & itching that may suggest an allergic reaction seek medical advice. 
Avoid heat treatments, hot showers, swimming, exercise with excessive sweating for 24hrs after treatment. 
Avoid excessive exfoliation or oil based cleansers as this may reduce the effectiveness of your lift & tint.

Hydrate the briws with a nourishing brow serum. 
Use mineral mascara / make up. 
Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day. Eat a healthy diet.

Maintenance appointment to tighten or rebraid current braids back in to place. Generally braids loosen after a week. Come back in and have them rebraided from the band that holds the hair in place at the front. Appointments only for braids fitted by Lulu Sparkles.
