Deep Tissue Massage is quite like a Sports massage in terms of using deeper pressure to help alleviate pain and discomfort in the muscles but would incorporate the flow rhythm and long strokes that a Swedish massage would offer. In a deep tissue massage, the therapist would utilize a lot of their knuckles, elbows, and forearms to sustain and deep pressure.
This treatment unlike a sports massage, is a full body treatment but also can be a localised treatment.


Deep Tissue Massage 

Please be mindful, if this is your first time coming for a dry needling appointment and have an aversion to needles or faint easily, I wouldn't recommend this treatment.

Dry needling, also known as trigger point dry needling and intramuscular stimulation.

During a dry needling treatment, one or more thin, monofilament needles are inserted into a muscle trigger point. A trigger point is a local band of tight, irritable, and dysfunctional muscle tissue. This often emerges because of injury, overuse or poor movement patterns.

Trigger points can disrupt your muscle function, restrict your range of motion, or cause pain and tenderness.
Dry Needling utilizes a thin filiform needle to penetrate the skin, fascia, and muscles to address adhesions, trigger points, and connective tissue.  This speeds healing, blood flow and relieves pain by decreasing muscle hypertonicity (tightness), increasing joint range of motion,

 Swedish massage is one of the most common types of massage therapy. It's often used to relax you, relieve stress and relieve pain. Swedish massage often is performed to energize the body and improve overall health. This type of massage involves actions like percussion, kneading, vibration, tapping, and rolling. Massage oil or lotion is used to protect the skin from friction

In this Treatment, we focus on the back, neck, shoulders, chest, arms, hands, and head. a combination of Swedish, sports, deep tissue, and neuromuscular massage techniques are used to ease out any tension, stress, aches, and adhesion that may have built up. This beneficial treatment is for people who find themselves sitting for long periods, find their life quite stressful, and are prone to tension in the upper body.
A specially tailored blend of oils will be used during the massage.

Deep Tissue Cupping Massage is a combination of massage techniques and cupping techniques.
Cups or cupping have been used in healing in many countries for hundreds of years, in china cupping is an integral part of Chinese medicine and this ancient therapy dates back 5000 years.

In Russia cups are still used today by doctors as first method before antibiotics are prescribed and all households would have a set of cups as part of their medical chest.

Malta and other Mediterranean countries have a history of using cups in healing but sadly this practice is fading.

Traditionally cups, which can be made of glass or bamboo, are applied to the skin surface by inserting ignited material into the cup to create a vacuum on the skin. This would be called hot cupping but these days your able to create the same vacuum but without heat t

Deep tissue Cupping Massage

Sports & Neuromuscular Massage Sports massage is a deep form of soft tissue mobilization. A sports massage can be applied in a sporting and non-sporting context. Sports massage involves a wide range of techniques that include effleurage, kneading, wringing, hacking, and trigger pointing. A sports massage is used to help a specific area that needs attention for example an injury or area of restriction or tightness Sports massage helps relieve muscular tension, break down adhesions, mobilise soft tissues, and reduce pain.
Neuromuscular therapy uses soft tissue manipulation to help improve nervous system function and the overall function and alignment of the skeletal system. Using static pressure, neuromuscular therapists place a consistent amount of pressure on a specific area of the body, helping to reduce pain and tension effectively.
In this treatment, you would get the benefit of both therapies. 

This treatment is only a Localised treatment so we only focus on certain areas.


Sports & Neuromuscular Massage

Reflexology is a therapeutic method of relieving tension and promoting balance in the body through a combination of massage and pressure point techniques along special reflex points and zones on the hands and feet. Each reflex point and zone corresponds to a different part/area of the body, which in turn promotes healing by stimulating the nerves in this area and encourages the flow of blood. 

We do a gentle exfoliation at the start of this treatment followed by a reflexology treatment.

In this Treatment, we focus on the lower body, including hips, glutes, legs, and feet.  Like the upper body tension buster a combination of Swedish, sports, deep tissue, and neuromuscular massage techniques are used to ease out any tension, stress, aches, and adhesion that may have built up. This beneficial treatment is for people who find themselves sitting for extended periods, find their life quite stressful, and are prone to tension in the lower body.
A specially tailored blend of oils will be used during the massage.


Lower Body Tension Reliever

Indian Head Massage is derived from the ancient Ayurvedic Healing system, which teaches self-care and prevention of illness.  Indian Head Massage also known as Champissage a Hindi word meaning head. This is a massage of the back, shoulders, neck, head, face, arms and hands. It Is believed the manipulation of these areas will help promote balance within the energy channels (chakras) which will help the client be better able to cope with everyday stresses and strains and will feel more relaxed and energised. It is helpful in not only alleviating tension but also improving blood and lymphatic drainage and circulation.

A special blend of oils is used.


Indian Head Massage

Holistic Body Massage treats the body as a "whole", which means that not only will a massage treatment pamper your physical body, but it will also establish internal and external problems and provide an effective method of rebalancing. Holistic massage is a therapeutic application of touch that is also a supportive, relaxing treatment that encourages the mind to slow down whilst energy is increased. This treatment also lifts the spirit on an emotional level.

Holistic Massage

Aromatherapy is the science and art of using plant-derived, aromatic essential oils to promote physical and psychological well-being. You would find an Aromatherapist using oil burners, inhalations, skin products, compresses, tablets, suppositories, and body treatments which would be the most popular. Aromatherapy massage is a body treatment using an aroma blend applied to the skin and inhaled whilst using body massage techniques, only one part of your body is exposed as clients' modesty is maintained the whole time.
At the start of this treatment, the client will be asked a few questions to be able for the therapist to make a personalized Aromatherapy blend for them.

Aromatherapy Massage

Pregnancy massage is a very gentle and specialized massage tailored around the expecting mother. The therapist uses pillows and cushions so that the client is comfortably positioned. Pregnancy massage is especially beneficial in the second and third trimesters, when the extra weight in your belly puts a strain on your back.

A special blend of oils is used in this treatment.
