Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive procedure used to renew overall skin tone and texture. It can improve the appearance of sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, acne scarring, melasma, and other skin-related concerns and conditions.

The procedure uses a special applicator with an abrasive surface to gently sand away the thick outer layer of the skin to rejuvenate it.

Common side effects of microdermabrasion include mild tenderness, swelling, and redness. These generally go away within a few hours after treatment.

You might be advised to use a moisturiser to minimize dry and flaky skin. Minor bruising may also occur. This is mostly caused by the suction process during the treatment.

Plasma fibroblast therapy is a cosmetic treatment that may help tighten the skin.
This treatment aims to improve the skin’s appearance by using plasma, which is a hot, gas-like substance, to stimulate the fibroblast cells

A fibroblast is a type of skin cell that secretes collagen proteins in the dermis, the layer of the skin just below the outermost skin layer. These cells play an important role in wound healing and maintaining skin firmness and tightness.

A pen-like device is used that discharges plasma for the treatment. By applying energy to a gas, it creates a cloud of charged ions that is extremely hot and emits electromagnetic radiation.

In response to the micro-injury, fibroblasts activate and attempt to repair and regenerate the skin.

A chemical peel is a procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers. The skin that grows back is smoother. With a light or medium peel, you may need to undergo the procedure more than once to get the desired results.

Chemical peels are used to treat wrinkles, discolored skin and scars — usually on the face. They can be done alone or combined with other cosmetic procedures. And they can be done at different depths, from light to deep. Deeper chemical peels are not available.

Mesotherapy contains a cocktail of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and hyaluronic acid.  It is designed to boost cell turnover, hydrate and provide essential supplements to the skin.  It is delivered by a series of very superficial (barely breaking the skin), micro needling.  The procedure at worst can be described as mildly uncomfortable.

Face and lip fillers (dermal fillers) are substances injected into your face. They fill lines and wrinkles and add volume to areas such as your lips or cheeks.

They can be used to enhance facial features, sculpting the contours of the face and plumping out lines and wrinkles. 

Fillers are not permanent. How long they last depends on things like the type of filler and where it's injected. They usually last between 6 and 18 months.

Most dermal fillers used in the UK contain a natural substance called hyaluronic acid.

If you have fillers, the rest of your face will continue to age as normal.

Botulinum Toxin is a quick and safe procedure that has very little impact on usual activity on the day of injection. We deliver tiny injections to relax the action of the muscles that create excessive movement. These movements create ‘dynamic wrinkles’ over time. 

In most cases, there will be no side effects to treatment of line softening treatments. However, because everybody’s physiology is different, people can be affected in different ways. A small minority of people reported the following side effects.

Bruising — For the majority of patients, the area of injection will appear no different. For a small minority, some minor bruising may occur.

Bumps — A few minutes after treatment small bumps may be visible on the skin. These will disappear very quickly.
Headache — True Botulinum Toxin allergies are exceedingly rare. Temporary headache is the most commonly reported symptom following anti-ageing injectables, though the numbers of patients who report headaches is very small.
