Tranquility Lodge Therapy is set on the edge of a bungalow's gorgeous garden, just minutes from the centre of Weeting village.
When you walk into the lodge and listen to nature with the birds singing outside, I hope that you start to feel relaxed and in a place of tranquility.
Offering Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Hot Stone Massage and tailormade facials for ladies only.  I am also able to provide treatments for those that have recently been diagnosed with Cancer and going through treatment, or have previously had cancer.

All facials are carried out using Tropic Skincare products and include:

Double cleanse, Tone, and Exfoliation followed by a mini face massage.  Your treatment is finished off with a serum and moisturiser suitable for your skins needs, and facial SPF50.

Express Facial (30 mins)

All facials are carried out using Tropic Skincare products and include:

Double cleanse, Tone, and Exfoliation.  Next is a relaxing 20 minute neck, shoulder and face massage followed by a mask to suit your skin's needs.  Your treatment is finished off with eye cream, a serum and moisturiser suitable for your skins needs, and facial SPF50 to make sure you're protected from the sun and daily pollutants in the atmosphere.

I believe that everyone should be able to receive a massage treatment, even if you have had Cancer or have recently received a Cancer diagnosis.  
Sometimes you just want to get off the 'cycle' of hospital visits, treatments, etc and have a moment of 'normality' and take back some control of your body, rather than the cancer/treatment controlling you.  Never has being treated to some 'me' time without having to worry what others are thinking,  ever been  more important.  
I provide Massage treatments that will help to reduce your anxiety, lessen tension you hold in your body (that you probably don't know about) and improve your mood.  They will help to manage the side effects of chemotherapy, and leave you feeling relaxed.
My hope is that this will assist you in handling your cancer journey.  Because YOU CAN DO THIS!! 
All treatments (not Deep Tissue) can be adapted in line with your Cancer Treatment Plan.

Oncology Massage*

Restorative Touch is a very relaxing 'treatment' especially for those going through Cancer Treatment.  The client is fully clothed and then 'swaddled' in blankets and supported either lying on their side or back, by cushions and pillows.  The therapist then places their hands onto the body working from head to feet.  It is a warming and very relaxing treatment (I personally found this more relaxing than a massage when I was completing my Oncology Massage training!!)

The appointment is for 70 minutes which includes a 50 minute treatment and 20 minutes for a chat and relaxation afterwards to talk through your cancer journey, feelings etc.  As I've been where you are, I'm hoping that you will find this useful to be able to talk with somebody who has been through the cancer journey.

Restorative Touch

Whether it's a relaxing swedish massage or a deep tissue massage that you're looking for, this is for you if you're a carer of a loved one with a cancer diagnosis.

The appointment is for 70 minutes which includes a 50 minute treatment and 20 minutes for a chat and relaxation afterwards to talk through your cancer journey, feelings etc.  As a cancer survivor, I'm able to provide an empathetic ear for you when your loved one is going through a cancer journey.  It is important that you are able to have time too to talk with somebody who has been through the cancer journey.

Oncology

A relaxing massage using long strokes and light-medium pressure working the soft tissue of the back,neck and shoulder, to relieve the tension and stresses held in these areas.  It helps to increase delivery of blood and oxygen to the treated areas and will leave you feeling relaxed.  

Back, neck and shoulder massage (30mins)

If you sit at a computer all day and feel your muscles all tense, then this treatment is for you.  A relaxing massage using long strokes and light-medium pressure working the soft tissue of the body, to relieve the tension and stresses held in your body.  It helps to increase delivery of blood and oxygen to the treated areas and will leave you feeling relaxed.  Can also be used to target any areas specific areas of concern.

Swedish Massage (60 mins)

A more targeted massage where pressure is applied on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and facia (the protective layer around muscles).  Can help to decrease tension and improve flexibility.  Will also assist in any of the 'tight knots' that are reported by clients.

Deep Tissue Massage (60 mins)

Lava Stones are heated in a water bath and are used by the therapist to massage.  Very little pressure is required as the heat from the stones can penetrate into the muscles during the massage.  Can help to relieve tension, stress and anxiety and pain.  It can also aid sleep.
