Eyelash Extension Soak Off

In threading, a thin cotton or polyester thread is doubled, then twisted. It is then rolled over areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing, where single hairs are pulled out one at a time, threading can remove short rows of hair.

Advantages cited for eyebrow threading, as opposed to eyebrow waxing, include that it provides more precise control in shaping eyebrows, and that it is gentler on the skin.

There are a few different techniques for threading. These include the hand method, mouth method and neck method. Each technique has advantages and disadvantages; however, the mouth holding method is the fastest and most precise.

Please do not use a sunbed for 24 hours before having a wax, and refrain from using Retin A derived products for 5 days before, as these will compromise the skin. Hair must be a minimum of 0.5cm for the wax to grip (usually around 3 - 4 weeks growth).
It is normal for the area to go red after having a hair removal treatment, and not uncommon for small, raised bumps and slight soreness to be present in the area, particularly if it is your first time. These contra-actions will usually subside within 24 - 48 hours after your treatment.
Skin grazing (or skin lifting) can occasionally occur after a waxing treatment, causing an abrasion similar to scraping your knee. Often mistaken for a burn, this does not always appear in the area immediately, and can sometimes not become apparent until a day or two after the treatment. It can occur if the skin has been compromised due to factors such as the environment, chemicals, or even foreign substances (such as pollen or artificial fragrance)

G String Wax removes hair that would show outside the G String style pant line.

After your hair removal treatment, please avoid the following for 24 hours:
* ﻿﻿Heat treatments such as sunbeds saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs and jacuzzis
* ﻿﻿Direct sunlight
* ﻿﻿Hot showers or baths (lukewarm or tepid water is fine)
* ﻿﻿Swimming, particularly in chlorinated water
* ﻿﻿Strenuous exercise, or activities that may cause you to sweat
* ﻿﻿Excessively touching the treated area
* ﻿﻿Use of make-up, deodorants, face or body products in the treated area, other than those recommended by your therapist
* ﻿﻿Tight clothing or friction in the area
* ﻿﻿Sexual activity (after a bikini or intimate wax)
* ﻿﻿Other skin treatments in the area

G String Wax

Very similar to the French Wax in that it removes most of the hair from the front, leaving a small strip or triangle, this also takes all the hair off the back. This is the perfect style for wearing a thong bikini, as no hair will be visible front or back. Brazilian hair removal is a popular choice when it comes to styling and bikini waxing. 

There are multiple types of Brazilian wax, and you may come across names such as “The Bermuda Triangle” (an upside-down triangle), and the “The Desert Island” - which leaves just a small amount of hair for anyone who does not want to be completely hair free - but they all remove hair from the same areas.

Bikini Wax

Removes hair leaving either no hair or a small strip. Hollywood wax is when all of the hair is removed—from the front to the middle and all the way to the backside, leaving you entirely bare.

Our most powerful MD treatment specifically designed to treat the back area. During treatment a vigorous jet of crystals will slough away old skin and imperfections. Meanwhile the powerful vacuum action will unblock pores and stimulate blood flow to the area to promote healing and improve the appearance of the skin.

To achieve the best results we recommend a course of treatments. A full consultation will be carried out to establish the best course of treatments for your needs.

MD Back treatment covers a cleanse, body scrub for a base exfoliation, MD treatment, a mask to soothe and hydrate & then a light moisturiser to finish.

A course of 6-8 every 7-10 days recommended for congested skin/acne. For acne and acne scarring you should continue to see improvements over the course and can continue up to a maximum of 20 treatments.

Microdermabrasion Back Treatment

Our hands are one of the first areas to show the signs of ageing and they work hard for us too! Age spots on the hands and forearms are common as are fine lines and wrinkles.

This treatment will not only ensure your nails look good, it will make your hands look amazing too. Age spots, fine lines and wrinkles, dry and dehydrated skin; microdermabrasion will fight the signs of ageing and improve the absorption of hand creams whilst keeping moisture locked in.

As part of a luxury manicure treatment, we recommend a treatment every 4-6 weeks.

The treatment covers microdermabrasion, a hand soak, cuticle work, cut and file, a hand and arm massage & polish (option for gel finish at extra cost).

Microdermabrasion Luxury Manicure

They serve us well but our poor feet deserve a break too and what better way than with our luxury Microdermabrasion pedicure. Microdermabrasion reaches all the nooks and crannies, effectively removing the build-up of skin that you often see on the heels.

It can be a nightmare trying to combat the dead skin on our heels - getting moisturisers to absorb can be impossible, whilst scrubbing them away by hand is exhausting and time consuming.

With a MD pedicure, you can sit back and relax while one of our wonderful therapists works their magic to slough away hard skin, invigorate and stimulate the circulation, and get those feet smoother than they’ve ever been. Your feet will thank you for it, we promise!
