Please ensure you have read the patch testing policy on the website prior to booking in. Please read this guidance: 

- if you have had patch tests before you will know it is a very quick service
- it is vital for my insurance compliance 
- every new client must receive a patch test prior to each new eye treatment service. For example, a brow tint and eyelash extension will need to be tested for both glue and tint. 
- for lash extension patch tests, I will require you to have no eye makeup on as I need to apply lashes directly to your natural lashes. 
- patch tests will be valid for one year unless you have had a hormonal change for example during menopause or pregnancy. Which then requires you to have a patch test every 6 months 
- all patch tests need to be completed at least 48 hours prior to the service.
- a negative reaction is what we will require 
- a positive reaction could look like itching, swelling, burning, irritation, inflammation or other. Please message me with concerns

Becoming a new client at The Beauty Ritualist means building a relationship between us. Finding vital information about medical history, treatment history, allergies, preferences, skin lash or nail concerns or anything else related to you and the services I will provide. Sharing time at the start of your treatment allows us to ensure you feel secure in your new Beauty and wellness community.

Ensure you fill out your form sent to you via email, prior to your appointment, as well as choosing to book in for this at the start of your new booking with me. Don’t forget to let me know if you prefer a silent service or if you would like to chat.

Existing clients- if you require more time with me for treatment information, product knowledge or extra patch testing then please also use this time at the time of booking your appointments, tagged on at the start or end. 

This does secure the time with me and ensure we are not rushed between you and other clients.
