This service involves removal of unwanted hair from the front & back (if you would like a triangle or "landing strip" left behind, please let us know before your service begins). 

       How long does your hair have to be to wax?

A minimum an ⅛” of an inch of hair; ideally, a ¼” to ½” of growth. This is typically about 2 weeks from the last time you shaved. If it’s longer than that leave it alone. We can trim it before your wax if it’s out of control. If you try to groom the area before coming in, you might cut it too short. Leave it to us

N.B.  Because your body has four different hair cycles, each lasting approx. 4-5 weeks it is important to wax consistently every 4 weeks the first three to four times you wax so that you can get each hair cycle on its own waxing schedule.   After the third or fourth wax you will find you are smoother for a greater length of time than when you started the waxing  process.  Everyone's body is different and therefore will have a different experience.

Brazilian Wax | Women

Just like it sounds.  The brow wax cleanup service touches up your existing brow shape by removing unwanted brow hair above, below and between the eyebrows.  

*** Select the Brow Waxing / Shaping if this is the first Brow Wax in awhile and/or to sculpt and define your eyebrows.

Brow tinting can last up to 4/5 weeks depending on thickness of brow hairs, growth cycle, skin type and aftercare routine.  It is suggested to book your tinting appointments 4-weeks apart to maintain the desired affect.

Full Back Wax:  Includes hair removal from the waistline of your pants to the base of your neck and to top of shoulders.  Hair growth should ideally be at least 1/4" to 1/2" long for best results.  

Half Back Wax:  Hair growth can be patchy and localized to only half of the surface area of your back.  When this is the case, select the "Half Back Wax" pricing option when you book your service.

Not every is a candidate for permanent makeup: 
1)  If you have Dry/Normal/Combination skin:

MICROBLADING is a form of semi-permanent makeup where fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments are used to create hairlike strokes to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hairs. This allows for natural-looking, fuller brows that will enhance your facial features and restore youthfulness to your overall appearance. 

Results will last anywhere between 1-2 years if the client doesn't skip the 6-to-8 week Perfection Session. It is recommended to get a touch-up about 1-year later to keep your brows looking their best! 

A perfection session (i.e. touch-up appointment) may be necessary 6-8 weeks after your initial service to tweak those brows to perfection!  

Microblading (Permanent makeup for your brows)

Microshading (aka Powder Brow) gives a soft powdery effect to fill in sparse areas in the eyebrows. It gives definition to your brows and enhances your facial features. 

A Microshading Touch-up Session is necessary 6-8 weeks after your initial appointment to ensure optimal retention of the pigment.  Colour revisions can also be addressed at this time.

Microshading/Powder Brow

Combo Brow Technique:  

A form of permanent makeup (cosmetic tattoo), where both the Microblading and Powder/Shading techniques are combined. This technique is great for those who have sparse eyebrows, little to no hair, or those who simply want to add definition to their eyebrows and arch. With Combo Brows, we create an illusion of eyebrow hairs and soft powder resembling a natural makeup look.

Combo Brows

Microblading, Powder Brow & Combo Brow

DIY temporary lash extensions are the perfect way to give you some WOW lashes for a special event, vacation or just for everyday wear.  

During this service, short bands of lightweight lash extensions are professionally applied by your technician at the spa.  A gentle adhesive is used to apply them to your lash line (similar to how you would apply "falsies").  The beauty of this adhesive is that it creates a bond that lasts up to 5-days!!!  

Now, who wants WOW lashes?

Long-weekend lashes

The Classic lash extension application method consists of applying one (1) artificial lash to each healthy natural lash.  The end result is beautiful, fuller & longer lashes.... and no more need to apply mascara!!!!  (CAUTION:  You may have difficulty walking past mirrors without taking a second glance to appreciate how spectacular your eyes look.)

The first appointment takes between 2 & 3 hours and lash fill appointments will be required every 2 to 3 weeks to maintain fullness. If less than 50% of your lashes are remaining, your service will be billed as a full set so it is best to book your infill appointments in advance.

Your lash stylist will instruct you on proper cleaning of your new lashes and will send you home with aftercare instructions.

A lash fill appointment will be necessary every 2 to 3 weeks to maintain fullness. If less than 50% of your lashes are remaining, your service be billed as a full set so it is best to book your infill appointments in advance.  Most clients rebook before they leave their appointment.

If a lash bath is required to deep clean your lashes at your lash in-fill appointment a fee might be applied.  It is necessary to cleanse your lashes daily to prevent the buildup of debris and oils. You should also brush your lashes daily with the lash wand (aka spoolie) you are given after each lash appointment.  This will lead to greater retention and overall health of your lashes.  

Symmetry Spa carries soft lash cleansing brushes if you do not own one.  We encourage you to invest in one as they are gentle enough to get close to the lash line without "snagging" the adhesive bonds during cleansing.

** You can also book a lash bath between lash appointments if you would like to pamper them with a deep clean in a relaxing environment.

Pedicures

When all you need is a toe nail clipping and filing. Toe nails are recommended to be trimmed every 6-8. 

The service begins with a soothing foot soak followed by a cut & file of your toenails finished with the application of a moisturizing foot cream.  (Polish removal prior to trimming is extra.)

Please note: This service does not involve cuticle work, callus removal, polish or 'foot care" (e.g. freeing up ingrown toenails)



Cut & File Toenails

- Your fingernails will be cleaned & trimmed as needed, filed, buffed and shaped, followed by proper cuticle care.
- A relaxing hand massage is provided with our Classic and Spa Manicure options.
- A base coat will be applied first to ensure protection for your natural nail, then the colour and a top coat to lock the manicure in place. (optional)
- Spa Manicures have the added benefit of a gentle Sugar Scrub & nourishing Mask.

Symmetry Spa Manicure

Just as it sounds.  Your fingernails are cut and then filed.   There is no soaking or cuticle work involved in this service.  

This service is ideal for anyone with limited dexterity or who cannot perform this task for themselves

Cut & File Fingernails

When all you need is a simple polish change.  

Includes removal of existing polish, a quick filing if necessary, pushing back the cuticle, application of a base coat, colour polish, and top coat.  

This service does not include cutting of the fingernails/toenails, cuticle trimming or callus removal.

Add a Hydrojelly mask to your Brazilian wax service.  This mask is applied after your wax service.  Its nourishing ingredients will calm & soothe your skin while reducing inflammation and cooling the waxed area.  

Once the mask has set completely (15-20 minutes), it will be removed leaving you with smoother skin that looks and feels fabulous!
