Hi Brendan, we are happy to hear you enjoyed your first session at Slow House! We also agree that letting your body naturally heat up after an ice bath is more beneficial and often recommend this to our clients!

First time at slow house - the traditonal sauna was the hotest I've been in which was a good thing. The ice bath was also great - I read it's good to not got hot again after and naturally come back to body temp. Feeling great.
