This treatment is for 6 weeks+ post-op, consisting of a full body manual lymphatic drainage, followed by scar tissue release.
This is great for tummy tucks, breast augmentations and liposuction.
Reduce fluid build up, and improve functionality and appearance with scar therapy.

If you are post-partum, you may find the Scar Release Category with better options for you.

Important info:
- Must be at least 6 weeks post-surgery and all wounds are fully healed with no risk of infection.
- Not for hernias repaired with mesh
- Must not be pregnant due to the scar therapy portion
- Please choose Manual Lymphatic Drainage if you tick any of the above boxes.
- Please be doctor approved

Post-surgery

This treatment focuses on reducing your pain, pulling sensation, and appearance of your scar/s.
It also aims to improve your breathing, movement and connection to your body.

We start with an assessment and then move on to our treatment.
We use several techniques, catered to the clients comfortability, such as myofascial release, dry needling, cupping, gua sha, breathing exercises.

We understand that your scars may hold trauma, and we will hold space for you and work with your level of comfort.

Please wait until you are 8 weeks post-surgery for this treatment

INITIAL C-Section & Abdominal Scar Release

This is a follow up appointment to continue care for your scar/s.

FOLLOW UP C-Section & Abdominal Scar Release

This treatment consists of a 1 hour full body Manual Lymphatic Drainage, followed by an abdominal and scar therapy massage.
This is ideal for post-partum and/or post c-section, or other abdominal scars.
Must be minimum 6 weeks post-partum and 6 weeks post-surgery, doctor approved, and all wounds healed.

This treatment aims to improve lymphatic flow around the body to improve healing, reduce swelling, and improve functionality and appearance of any scars and abdomen.

Myotherapy

A full body Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) session for an hour, with an extra 30 minutes for a Head and Neck massage!

There are lots of physical benefits of lymphatic drainage, but it is also relaxing and calms the mind.
And the reasons why some people come in for MLD can also be causing them stress - so I find that MLD and easing the tension in the head and neck with massage is the perfect relaxing combo!

Manual Lymphatic Drainage + Head & Neck Massage

Manual Lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a light manual treatment that works with the tissue to decongest areas of inflammation and excess fluid (and other pathologies) that are causing the lymphatic system to be compromised.

Some symptoms and conditions MLD can assist with:
-Hayfever symptoms
-Sinusitis
-Oedema (swelling)
-Inflammation
-Bruising
-Post surgery
-Menstrual cycle related symptoms

Whilst MLD may help flush out toxins to push a cold along, we do not suggest this treatment while you are currently sick, as it would heighten symptoms and is a risk to the practitioner and other clients who may be immunocompromised.

This is a great treatment for maintaining a healthy immune system!

During pregnancy, the body goes through a lot of changes, which can lead to pain, anxiety, sleepless nights and so on.
Treatment is centred around your goals, and can entail reducing pain and discomfort, while also relaxing the body and mind.

Treatments will be side-lying or on your back if possible.
We care about your comfort, so we provide enough pillows to support your belly, hips, knees, ankle and neck.

Advice is given surrounding safe and beneficial exercise, other potential therapists you can visit to go alongside your myotherapy appointment, improving comfortability in bed, and time to voice your questions and concerns.
