The Recovery Room is run by Bobby Lappin — a Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist and qualified Personal Trainer since 2008. With experience working with top athletes and everyday clients, Bobby specialises in Sports, Deep Tissue and Remedial Massage, Muscle Scraping, Cupping, Dry Needling & Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Alongside Bobby, his wife, Michelle — a Massage Practitioner with over 16 years’ experience in spas and clinics — provides tailored treatments including Brazilian Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and Wood Therapy.

MLD uses very light, precise techniques rather than deep pressure, making it suitable for sensitive clients and post-surgical care. Treatments are delivered as a full-body session, with additional focus on specific areas where swelling or congestion is present when required.

All sessions are tailored to the individual and carried out in a professional, clinical setting. Comfort and safety are prioritised at all times, and pressure is adjusted as needed.

Clients with a current or previous diagnosis of lymphoma, cancer, or lymphatic conditions are advised to seek medical clearance before booking.
