As always a very relaxing and lovely experience.  If you’ve not floated before, I highly recommend it.  So many health benefits (I’m recovering after a knee op), I also love the fact for days afterwards I sleep like a baby. Choose to have a calming wave played to you or have silence whilst you take the weight off your body and mind. Have the lid open or closed, and lay in darkness or with light. Share the secret of relaxation with a friend, arrive together and enter a room each with ensuite showering facilities. You do not float in the same pod or room, however when you come out from the session you can take a seat in the relaxation room, enjoy a herbal tea and discuss your floatation experience.

If you are wanting to float with a friend please book Pod 1 and Pod 2 separately using the 'twin float session'. You will need to create a separate booking for each one of you.

Why not have an infrared sauna pre float to release the muscular tension before hoping into the pod? Just add a couples sauna to the session and we will do the rest for you.

During the time spent at Mederi each individual will have the option to have 30 minutes in the Weyron Chair Dr, 30 minutes in the infrared sauna and then 45 to 60 minutes in the float pod.

In between sessions they will have the chance to enjoy some healthy snacks and breathing time in our relaxation room. 

We will also give your valued workers calming techniques to take away with them, ensuring that they can re centre themselves at points in the day where they might feel overwhelmed at work.

Deep tissue massage offers both physical and psychological benefits. Unlike other massage techniques that focus on relaxation, deep tissue massage helps to treat muscle pain and improve stiffness. Enjoy 55 minutes deep tissue with our specialist Alison. The session Ends with a beautiful head massage to take you deep into a relaxed state.

Take the weight off your body and mind in our Anti Gravity Massage Chair with full body scan technology. Giving you the opportunity to experience different types of massage and stretching. 
It can provide you with a full body deep tissue massage, massaging different areas of your body simultaneously. They are capable of performing, shiatsu, deep tissue, kneading, tapping, stretching and reflexology. Lasting from 10 to 30 minutes it is the perfect complement to your floating or infrared sauna experience.

The massage begins with an Epsom Salt foot soak, allowing the body to release any toxins and calm you before the treatment begins.  A warming massage oil is smoothed all over your skin, areas of tension will be massaged away. Focusing on acupressure points, gently heating your muscles and soothing any aches away. When you move to the supine position you will have a Rose Quartz eye mask to cool your eyes, we will then place cold Jade stones and other crystals on key pressure points to leave you feeling revitalised.

Craniosacral Therapy

Jason bring ten years’ experience as a counsellor and therapist into the room, as well as a background in Buddhist meditation and practice. His style of therapy is to bring awareness into the body which is the seat of all emotion. Together you will work to recognise where you are holding emotion in your body so that you can release it. Jasons sessions are somewhat spontaneous so that hopefully they do not feel like he is just practicing a set of techniques on you. 

Counsellor/Psychotherapy

Meditation increases resilience to stress and improves mental health - science proves this. But, if you have a busy mind (don’t we all?!), it can feel tricky to master the technique. Thoughts bombard you and you can’t seem to find that sweet “zen” spot. If this sounds familiar then you might find it easier to be guided by a teacher.

My 30-60 minute guided meditations are designed to help your mind stay focused. The meditation is tailored for your individual needs and I lead you through it step by step, leaving less room for a wandering mind (a little wandering is perfectly normal!).

The result? A you who is more content being simply present in the moment. A you who is less inclined to worry about events you can’t change or things that may not even happen. A you who can disconnect from negative thoughts and emotions.

And, best of all, a you armed with breathing techniques to use whenever you feel anxious or worried.
