What is Japanese hair straightening?
Japanese Hair Straightening is a populer thermal reconditioning method to create sleek, smooth, frizz free permanent hair straightening for curly and wavy hair.

How does it work?
The process involves applying a specially formulated formaldehyde free straightening solution to the hair which breaks down the hairs natural bonds. Heat is then applied to the hair, allowing it to be reshaped and straightened. Finally a neutraliser is used to restore the hairs ph and locks in the straightened shape.

How long will the procedure take?
The duration of the treatment will depend upon hair type, length and density but it usually takes between 2-3 hours.

How long does it last?
6-8 months, however rhe duration can vary depending on various factors such as, hair type, hair care routine and regrowth.

Can I colour my hair before/after the treatment?

Yes, but it is advisable to wait two weeks prior to or after the treatment before colouring your hair.
