LED Light Therapy Add On to a facial

The Yellow LED light helps hyperpigmentation by regulating melanin production. It effectively treats skin issues involving redness and rosacea and is an ideal therapy for sensitive skin.

YELLOW LIGHT wavelength 583nm

The Green LED light affects the melanocytes (the cells that produce the melanin, which is the pigmentation in the bottom two layers of the epidermis), reducing its production. As a result, over time, hyperpigmentation will fade, resulting in a rejuvenated complexion.

Green light also has a very calming effect on sensitive skin, and has a relaxing effect on the mind and body.

GREEN LIGHT wavelength 532nm

The Blue light wavelength attacks P-Acnes Bacteria producing singlet oxygen. This form of oxygen is very toxic to the P-Acnes bacteria that causes acne, decreasing acne drastically with minimal downtime.

Blue light has a sterilisation effect on the skin, and other advantages include reducing secretion by the sebaceous glands, preventing inflammation.

BLUE LIGHT wavelength 423nm

The Red light wavelength supports skin cells which develop connective tissue in the inner layer of the skin. This process stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. As a result, your skin becomes firmer, and the wrinkles and facial lines decrease.

The Red LED light also works to reduce inflammation, so the redness, of inflammatory revitalises skin cells and accelerates blood circulation.

These are bright red vascular blemishes which lie just under the surface of the skin. They are dome shaped or slightly raised. They’re commonly found on the torso but can appear anywhere. Most people over the age of 30 have at least one, and they are more common in men.

Cherry Angiomas Removal

These are tiny hard white lumps containing keratin which lie just under the surface of the skin. This occurs when dead skin cells and sebaceous matter gets trapped near the skin surface rather than exfoliate naturally. They’re often found on people with dry or dehydrated skin. 
Causes of Milia:
Skincare products that contain oil especially mineral oil, which blocks the pores.
Make up that contains artificial colour, which stimulates oil production, leading to blocked pores (mineral make up is the best as its both oil free & artificial colour free.
Occlusive moisturisers.
Heavy cosmetics – thick and heavy cosmetics or poor quality products which are not suitable for the skin prevent the sloughing of dead cells.
Excessive sun exposure makes the skin thick which is unable to exfoliate naturally.

 Milia  Removal (White Head Removal)

Common on the face as we age, these are either broken or permanently dilated capillaries, which are the smallest blood vessels we have. They have very thin walls which constantly dilate and constrict. As we age, these vessels lose their elasticity and can become permanently dilated. Ageing, pregnancy, smoking, energetic sports, harsh weather and hormones are just a few of the many causes.
