About this service
Careful nail removal ensures the health of your nail bed and prepares your nails for another manicure or new extensions.
First, your therapist uses a drill to remove the top layer of the nail.
Then, your nails are soaked in acetone.
After that, your therapist removes any excess and returns your nails to the acetone bath for additional time if necessary.
Any stubborn bits of gel or acrylic that remain are carefully buffed off.
You'll decide what to do next with your fresh, clean palette of nails.


Nail extensions (hard gel/BIAB) removal 

Remove all existing nail polish with acetone nail polish remover.
Apply cuticle remover (this is my favorite product).
Push back and trim cuticles so the bed of the nail is completely clean from any skin, flakes, or cuticles.
Shape nails with nail file, trying to only file in one direction versus sawing back and forth.
This treatment takes longer than a classic pedicure, but as a gel pedicure lasts up to two weeks, it’s well worth the wait.
