Regular polish pedicures include a warm foot soak and a foot scrub followed by clipping of the nails, shaping of the nails, your cuticles being pushed back, a foot and calf massage, moisturizer and nail polish.

Shellac nails are a patented form of polish that cures to the nail with an LED light. The finished look is natural and smooth. This type of manicure is convenient due to not having to wait for dry time!

Botox- Initial Treatment

If you have received “Botox” treatment within the last year from Rural Beauty specifically, please select this service! If it has been over a year since your initial consultation, please select “Botox- initial treatment” instead as a new consultation is required to discuss any changes in your medical history, anatomy, etc.

Botox- Repeat Treatment

Add a small amount of Botox to your upper lip to allow the muscles to relax and “flip” your lip upward. This is a subtle way to create a fuller look, and a less gummy smile.

Neuromodulators such as Botox can be injected into different areas of the face to produce localized muscle relaxation. When injected into the large muscle in the jaw called the masseter, Botox can help with jaw clenching, teeth grinding, tension headaches and jaw pain. Masseter Botox can also provide slimming of the face by reducing the size of the muscle over time. Typical dosing for masseter/TMJ injections is 15-30 units per side, at $8 per unit.

Beauty Basics spray-on tanning sessions are sprayed on using a tanning gun by a technician. This service is for the entire body.

The tanning solution has 3 components: Bronzer, DHA and Aloe Vera.

The Bronzer is a water-soluble dye designed to produce a temporary tan. The brown bronzer will wash off in the shower or bath but will not effect your overall tan.

The DHA produces a long-term tan. When applied to the skin, DHA reacts with proteins in the skin’s superficial layer to form a golden brown color. It begins to darken 2 to 3 hours after tanning. It reaches it’s peak color within 24 hours. The DHA tan will begin to fade after a week, just like a tan from the sun.

The Aloe Vera helps to carry the DHA deeper into the skin and promotes softer, smoother skin. The tanning solution contains more than 65% stabilized Aloe Vera liquid. Aloe Vera is a natural moisturizer that helps the skin draw moisture
