Checkout appointments
Streamline your payment process by efficiently checking out appointments. Learn how to checkout multiple types of appointments, whether they are individual, multiple, or group bookings.
Getting started
This feature allows you to handle payments smoothly for various appointment types, ensuring a seamless experience for you and your clients.
Before raising a sale if you are a team member we recommend:
- Reaching out to the workspace owner and request permission for Can check out sales.
Checking out appointments
Checking out individual appointments
- Desktop
- Mobile
To checkout an appointment:
- Open the Calendar.
- Click on the appointment you want to checkout.
- Select Checkout.
- Make any cart adjustments before selecting Continue to payment:
- Add additional items:
Use the category menu to select additional items to add to the cart, including Appointments, Services, Products, and Gift cards. - Update the client:
If needed, click on Actions below the client and choose to View profile, Change client, or Remove from checkout. - Edit item details:
Click on the item within the cart and adjust the Price, Quantity, Discount, or Team member then Save. - Adjust service charges:
Any services will be highlighted. Click on these to adjust the Percentage and Rate value or click on the trash icon to remove it from the cart. - Apply quick actions:
Click on Quick actions (three dots) to add an additional Cart discount, any Sales notes, or a Service charge.
- Add additional items:
- If enabled, select a tip preference. After adding it to the cart, click the tip to adjust the amount, edit the team member or merchant, or split it by selecting Add team member and then Apply.
- Click Continue to payment and choose a payment method.
To checkout an appointment:
- Open the Calendar.
- Choose the appointment you want to checkout.
- Tap Checkout.
- Under the clients’ service, tap Add to cart to make any cart adjustments before selecting Continue to payment:
- Add additional items:
Use the category menu to choose additional items to add to the cart, including Appointments, Services, Products, and Gift cards. - Update the client:
If needed, Tap on Actions below the client and choose to View profile, Change client or Remove from checkout. - Edit item details:
Tap on the item within the cart and adjust the Price, Quantity, Discount or Team member then Save. - Adjust service charges:
Any services will be highlighted. Tap on these to adjust the Percentage and Rate value or tap on the trash icon to remove it from the cart. - Apply quick actions:
Tap on Quick actions (three dots) to add an additional Cart discount, any Sales notes or a Service charge.
- Add additional items:
- If enabled, select a tip preference. After adding it to the cart, tap the tip to adjust the amount, edit the team member or split it by selecting Add team member and then Apply.
- Tap Continue to payment and choose a payment method.
- Tap Pay now to complete the sale and checkout the appointments.
Checking out same-day appointments
You can checkout same-day appointments and simultaneously take payment directly from the client’s appointment view.
The following payment methods are currently supported:
- Client’s payment card:
A client’s payment card that has been saved on file to their profile. - Fresha card terminal:
If you have a Fresha card terminal, this option will be available and you’ll be able to select the relevant terminal after clicking Pay now. - Tap to Pay on iPhone:
This option will be available if you have Tap to pay enabled.
To checkout a confirmed appointment:
- Open the Calendar.
- Select the appointment you want to checkout.
- Click Pay now and wait for the transaction to process.
Once complete, the appointment will be checked out.
Checking out multiple appointments

To checkout multiple appointments:

- Open the Calendar.
- Click on the appointment you want to checkout.
- Select Checkout.
- Select Appointments under the Search box.
- Click on the other appointment(s) you wish to checkout
- Make any further cart adjustments before selecting Continue to payment:
- Add additional items:
Use the category menu to select additional items to add to the cart, including Services, Products and Gift cards. - Update the client:
If needed, click on Actions below the client and choose to View profile, Change client or Remove from checkout. - Edit item details:
Click on the item within the cart and adjust the Price, Quantity, Discount or Team member then Save. - Adjust service charges:
Any services will be highlighted. Click on these to adjust the Percentage and Rate value or click on the trash icon to remove it from the cart. - Apply quick actions:

- Choose your payment method.
- Click Pay now to complete the sale and checkout the appointments.
To checkout multiple appointments:

Choose the appointment you want to checkout.

Tap Checkout.

Tap on the other appointment(s) you wish to checkout.

- Select Checkout group.
