Set up services and memberships upselling
Increase sales and encourage repeat business by offering additional services and membership to clients at checkout. Learn how to enable service and membership recommendations for online bookings to boost booking rates.
Getting started
Before enabling upselling, you'll need to take the following steps:
- If you're a team member, you'll need to request permission to access Workspace settings.
- Create your full services menu.
- Create memberships.
- Create and publish your online profile on Fresha's marketplace.
Upselling services
Enabling upselling for services will suggest up to five additional services to clients when booking online.
Enable upselling for services

To enable upselling for services:
- Open Workspace settings, select Scheduling then Upselling.
- Next to Upsell services, use the toggle to activate the setting.
To enable upselling for services:

Customize upselling for each service

To customize upselling for each service:
- Open the Catalog and select Service menu.
- Click on a service and select Edit.
- Select Online bookings from the menu.
- Under Upselling, enable the toggle to Upsell services.
- Select Edit under Services to select and Apply up to five services you want to offer clients as an upsell when they book this service.
- Enter the percentage value you want to Discount the upsell services by.
- Enable the toggle to Upsell memberships and choose from the following setting options:
- Select membership automatically:
Allow Fresha to select and upsell the cheapest suitable membership. - Set custom settings:
Choose to upsell either the cheapest, most expensive or specific memberships.
- Select membership automatically:
- Click Save.
To customize upselling for each service:
- Open the Catalog and select Service menu.
- Tap on a service and select Edit.
- Scroll across and select the Online bookings tab from the menu.
- Under Upselling, enable the toggle to Upsell services.
- Select Edit under Services to select and Apply up to five services you want to offer clients as an upsell when they book this service.
- Enter the percentage value you want to Discount the upsell services by.
- Enable the toggle to Upsell memberships and choose from the following setting options:
- Select membership automatically:

When a client chooses a service, they will see the membership offer before finalizing their purchase. If they opt for the membership, they'll proceed to checkout to complete the purchase, applying the membership to the service.
