How the Data Connector works
The Data Connector is perfect for businesses of all sizes, whether you need regular reports or want to connect Fresha data to custom systems.
With the Data Connector, you can easily manage your data, whether you're diving into detailed analysis, using business intelligence (BI) tools, or simplifying your day-to-day reporting. Your data syncs automatically, so it’s always up to date.

Upgrading to the Data Connector
The Data Connector add-on is available as an optional paid feature with a monthly subscription fee, based on the total number of locations within your business. You can find more information through our pricing page.
To enable the Data Connector add-on:
- Open Add-ons.
- Under Data Connector, click View.
- From the sign-up page, click Continue.
- Review your payment method and total monthly cost. You can click Edit to update the payment method and billing details.
- Click Enable to activate this add-on.
Once activated, you can start to add new data connectors.
Canceling the Data Connector
To cancel your Data Connector subscription or free trial:
- Open Add-ons.
- Under Data Connector, click Manage.
- Click Options and select Disable add-on.
- Select an option from the dropdown menu under Why are you disabling?
- Click Disable now to confirm your cancellation.

When you activate the Data connector, you'll be charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the current month. From the next billing cycle, the full monthly rate will apply.
If you cancel, you won’t be charged for the next month and will still have access until the end of your current billing period.

Fresha prioritizes your data security with reliable infrastructure and encrypted connections when available. You can use permissions to manage access to the Data Connector and the database credentials are only visible to the person setting the connection up.
Anyone with permission for Account setup for your business account can sign up for the Data Connector add-on. Once active, anyone with either the Account setup OR Data Connector permission will be able to create / manage connections for your business.
No, to enable or cancel Data Connector, you need to log in to your Fresha account using a web browser.
