Receiving money from your merchant account
In this guide, you’ll learn how your earnings are paid from your merchant wallet and how to transfer funds manually.
How receiving money from your merchant account works
Earnings from your merchant account are automatically transferred to your bank account through scheduled payouts. By default, payouts are sent daily, but you can change this to weekly, monthly, or never, depending on how often you want to receive your funds.
You can also transfer funds manually, giving you flexibility to move money directly from your merchant wallet to your personal wallet, bank account, team members, or workspace.
Change your merchant payout schedule
- From the toolbar in the top right of your screen, click the Wallet icon to access your merchant wallet.

- In the left-hand menu, select Manage under your current payout schedule.

- Under Send to, click Change to update the verified bank account where your funds are automatically paid out.

- Under Frequency, choose how often you’d like funds to be transferred from the following options:
- Daily: Funds collected before midnight are sent to your bank account by the next business day if the daily balance exceeds 50. If below 50, payment will be made in full the following Monday or the next business day.
- Weekly: Funds accumulate from Monday to Sunday, with the total balance sent to your bank account the following Monday or the next business day.
- Monthly: This will allow funds to accumulate throughout the calendar month, with the total balance sent to your bank account on the first business day of the next month.
- Never: Funds remain in your business wallet, and you can manually transfer money to your team members and locations at any time.
- Click on the Save button in the top right to update your payout schedule.
Once updated, your future payouts from your merchant wallet will follow the new schedule you’ve set. Any existing balance in your merchant wallet will remain there until it’s transferred in the next scheduled payout or moved manually.
Send money from your merchant wallet
- From the toolbar on the top right of your screen, click on the Wallet icon to access your merchant wallet.

- In the left menu panel under My wallets make sure you are using your merchant wallet. To change this, click on the dropdown arrow and choose your merchant wallet.

- In the right panel, click on the Send money button.

- On the Send money screen, choose from the following options:
- Transfers money to a Fresha business account: Send money to merchants or locations in your workspace.
- Transfer money to your Fresha personal wallet: Send money from your merchant wallet to your personal wallet.
- Transfer to bank account: Send money from your merchant wallet to your bank account.

- Enter the amount to transfer. To send the full wallet balance, click on Max button.

- Click on the Add note button to add a reference for the transfer.
- Select the Review button in the top right to check your transaction details.

- Click on the Send money button in the top right to complete the transfer.
After completing the transfer, the funds are sent to your chosen destination, and the transaction appears in your wallet history for reference.
You can also transfer money from your personal wallet to your merchant wallet, another Fresha business wallet, or your bank account, giving you flexibility in how you manage your funds.
