Redeem gift cards
Encourage clients to return and enjoy more of your services by offering gift cards as a payment option. Learn how to redeem gift cards in-store, which can be used for any products, services, tips, or charges.
Getting started
- Gift cards purchased by a client automatically appear in their Wallet, ready for use at checkout (in-store or online).
- Gift cards must be claimed by the client before they can be redeemed.
Redeeming gift cards in-store
There are a few ways to redeem gift cards in-store, depending on the appointment details or status.
Redeem gift cards for upfront payments in-store
To redeem gift cards for upfront payments in-store:
- Open the Calendar.
- Select the relevant appointment.
- Click on the three dots next to the payment policy and select Edit policy.
- Select Collect in-store and adjust the value if needed.
- Click Apply to return to the cart and select Save and pay.
- Choose the available gift card as the payment method. If the gift card isn’t in the Wallet or the client is a walk-in, select Gift card and manually enter the code to add it.
- Click Pay now.
Redeem gift cards at checkout in-store
To check out an appointment using a gift card in-store:
- Open the Calendar.
- Select the relevant appointment.
- Click on Checkout.
- Choose the available gift card as the payment method. If the gift card isn’t in the Wallet or the client is a walk-in, select Gift card and manually enter the code to add it.
- Click Pay now.
Adjust or customize the client’s cart before payment by selecting Cart in the top-right corner.
Redeeming gift cards online
Clients can use gift cards for upfront payments when booking online through the Fresha Marketplace.
To redeem a gift card online, clients can:
- Open the Fresha app to find and book an appointment, or follow the link to pay an upfront payment balance through their text.
- Tap Edit next to the payment method.
- Select the gift card and tap Done.
- Tap Confirm and then Pay now.
