Manage active memberships
You can keep clients' memberships accurate by updating them whenever changes are needed ensuring correct billing and tracking. Learn how to manage clients' active memberships whenever changes are needed.
Pause a membership from sales
You can temporarily pause a client’s membership, allowing them to keep their plan without losing any benefits. The membership can be reactivated whenever needed.

- From the main menu, go to Sales and select Memberships sold.
- Locate and click on the name of the membership plan you want to pause.
- Select Options, then click Pause membership.
- Add an optional note for the client, which will be sent to them.
- Click Pause to confirm.
- From the main menu, tap on Sales and select Memberships sold.
- Locate and tap on the name of the membership plan you want to pause.
- Select Options (the three dots), then tap Pause membership.
- Add an optional note for the client, which will be sent to them.
- Tap Pause to confirm.
Pause a membership from a client's profile

- From the main menu, go to Clients.
- Locate and click on the client whose membership plan you want to pause.
- In the client draw, select Items then Memberships.
- Under the membership name select Pause.
- Add an optional note for the client, which will be sent to them.
- Click Pause to confirm.
- From the main menu, tap on Clients.

Resume memberships from a sale
Clients can easily continue using their previously paused membership when it’s reactivated.

- From the main menu, go to Sales and select Memberships sold.
- Locate and click on the name of the membership plan you want to resume.
- Select Options, then click Resume membership.
- Add an optional note for the client, which will be sent to them.
- Click Resume to confirm.
- From the main menu, tap on Sales and select Memberships sold.
- Locate and tap on the name of the membership plan you want to pause.
- Select Options (three dots), then tap Resume membership.
- Add an optional note for the client, which will be sent to them.
- Tap Resume to confirm.

Cancel a recurring membership from a sale
Recurring memberships can be canceled to stop future payments. Once canceled, they cannot be reactivated.

- From the main menu, go to Sales and select Memberships sold.
- Locate and click on the name of the membership plan you want to cancel.
- Select Options, then click Cancel membership.
- Add an optional note for the client, which will be sent to them.
- Click Cancel to confirm.

- Locate and tap on the name of the membership plan you want to cancel.
