Create and manage recurring appointments
Set up a series of recurring appointments to easily manage regular clients and ensure their services are always booked at their preferred times with their favourite team members. Learn how to create, manage and reschedule recurring appointments.
Getting started
For a smooth scheduling experience, set up these areas of workspace before creating recurring appointments:
- Schedule shifts to show when you and your team are available.
- Create your services and resources to add to appointments.
- Import your existing clients so they're ready to go.
Creating appointments

To create a series of recurring appointments:
- Open the Calendar.
- Create a new appointment or select an existing one you wish to make recurring.
- Within the appointment view, select Doesn’t repeat below the date.
- Under Frequency, use the drop-down menu to select how often you’d like the appointment to repeat.
- Under Ends, use the drop-down menu to specify how many recurring appointments you’d like to schedule. You can also choose a Specific date or select Never for ongoing appointments.
- Select Apply changes.
- Click Save.
To create a series of recurring appointments:
- Open the Calendar.
- Create a new appointment (+) or select an existing one you wish to make recurring.
- Within the appointment view, select Doesn’t repeat below the date.
- Under Frequency, use the drop-down menu to select how often you’d like the appointment to repeat.
- Under Ends, use the drop-down menu to specify how many recurring appointments you’d like to schedule. You can also choose a Specific date or select Never for ongoing appointments.
- Select Apply changes.
- Tap Save.
Recurring appointments are marked with a repeating icon on your calendar and are automatically scheduled up to 12 months in advance.
Rescheduling appointments

To reschedule recurring appointments:
- Open the Calendar.
- Select the recurring appointment you want to reschedule.
- Within the appointment view, click on the date or the three dots and select Reschedule to change the appointment date. To change the appointment start time, click on the time underneath the appointment date.
- Select a new time slot in your calendar.
- Choose to Update this appointment only or Update all upcoming appointments, depending on your client's preference.
- Mark the checkbox to send a message informing the client that their appointment has been scheduled.
- Click Update.
To reschedule recurring appointments:
- Open the Calendar.
- Select the recurring appointment you want to reschedule.
- Within the appointment view, tap on the date or Quick actions (the three dots) in the left hand corner and select Reschedule to change the appointment date.
- To change the appointment start time, tap on the time underneath the appointment date.
- Select a new time slot in your calendar.
- Choose to Update this appointment only or Update all upcoming appointments, depending on your client's preference.
- Check the box to send a message to inform the client that their appointment has been scheduled.
- Tap Update.
You can also reschedule by dragging the appointment to a new date or time, affecting only that particular appointment.
Changing appointment details
You can edit the appointment details for a single appointment or all the appointments in the recurring series.

To edit recurring appointment details:
- Open the Calendar.
- Select the recurring appointment you want to change.
- Update the appointment as needed, including client selection, date, or service details
- Click Save.
- Choose to Update this appointment only or Update all upcoming appointments.
- Click Update.

- Update the appointment as needed, including client selection, date, or service details
- Tap Save.
- Choose to Update this appointment only or Update all upcoming appointments.
- Tap Update.
Canceling appointments
There are two ways you can cancel recurring appointments.
Cancel through actions

To cancel recurring appointments through actions:
- Open the Calendar.
- Select the appointment you want to cancel.
- Click on Quick actions (the three dots) and select Cancel.
- Choose a Cancellation reason from the dropdown.
- To cancel all upcoming appointments, mark the relevant checkbox.
- Click Cancel appointment.
To cancel recurring appointments through actions:
- Open the Calendar.
- Select the appointment you want to cancel.
- Tap on Quick actions (the three dots) in the left hand corner and select Cancel.
- Choose a Cancellation reason from the dropdown.
- To cancel all upcoming appointments, check the relevant box.
- Tap Cancel appointment.
Cancel through the appointment status

To cancel recurring appointments through the appointment status:
- In the Calendar.
- Select the appointment you want to cancel.
- Click on the current appointment status and set it to Cancel.
- Select a Cancellation reason from the dropdown.
- Check the box to cancel all upcoming appointments.
- Click Cancel appointment.
To cancel recurring appointments through the appointment status:
- In the Calendar.
- Select the appointment you want to cancel.
- Tap on the current appointment status and set it to Cancel.
- Select a Cancellation reason from the dropdown.
- Check the box to cancel all upcoming appointments.
- Tap Cancel appointment.
