Create single appointments
Start filling up your calendar with appointments, using intuitive scheduling and managing tools. Learn how to create appointments, add client details, customize services, and include extras like notes, documents, and optional payment policies.
Getting started
For a smooth scheduling experience, we recommend setting up the following things before you create appointments:
- Schedule shifts to show when you and your team are available.
- Create your services and resources to add to appointments.
- Import your existing clients so they're ready to go.
Creating single appointments
Appointments are designed to hold all the key details about the client and the services scheduled.
Create an appointment

To create an appointment:
- Open the Calendar.
- To add a new appointment either:
- Click on an available time slot and select Add appointment.
- Click on the Add button in the top right corner, select Appointment, and choose an available time slot.
To create an appointment:
- Open the Calendar.
- To add a new appointment either:
- Tap on an available time slot and select Add appointment.
- Tap on the plus button (+) in the centre bar, select Appointment, and choose an available time slot.
Add services to appointments
To save an appointment, you’ll need to add one or more services.

To add a service to an appointment:
- From the open appointment, use the search bar to find and select a service or choose one from the list.
- To include more services, click Add services and repeat the above step.
- To customize the service added, click on the service and update the service details (Service, Price, Discount, Start time, Duration, Team member and Extra time) where needed and Apply.
- Click Save.
You can hover over the service and click on the Pencil icon to edit or the Trash icon to remove a service from an appointment.
To add a service to an appointment:
- From the open appointment, use the search bar to find and select a service or choose one from the list.
- To include more services, tap Add services and repeat the above step.
- To customize the service added, tap on the service and update the service details (Service, Price, Discount, Start time, Duration, Team member and Extra time) where needed and Apply.
- Tap Save.
You can tap the service to edit or the Trash icon to remove a service from an appointment.
Add a client to appointments
Appointments are automatically recorded as walk-ins, but for better management, we recommend adding a client so their details stay accessible for viewing and updating within the appointment.

To add a client to an appointment:
- From the open appointment, click Add client.
- Choose a client from the following options:
- Existing client:
Use the search bar to find an existing client by looking up their name, email address, or mobile number. You can also select one from the populated list of available clients. - New client:
Select Add new client, create a client, and click Save to return to the appointment. - Walk-in:
Select Walk-in or leave the client card empty.
- Existing client:
To add a client to an appointment:
- From the open appointment, tap Add client.
- Choose a client from the following options:
- Existing client:
Use the search bar to find an existing client by looking up their name, email address, or mobile number. You can also select one from the populated list of available clients. - New client:
Select Add new client, create a client, and tap Save to return to the appointment. - Walk-in:
Select Walk-in or leave the client card empty.

Add notes to appointments
Notes are highlighted within the appointment and are only visible to you and your team; clients cannot access this information.

To include notes about the specific appointment:
- From the open appointment, click on Quick actions (the three dots) and select Add a note.
- Within the notes window, enter any special instructions or details about the appointment.
- Click Save.
To include notes about the specific appointment:
- From the open appointment, tap on Quick actions (the three dots) in the bottom left corner and select Add a note.
- Within the notes window, enter any special instructions or details about the appointment.
- Tap Save.
Only one note can be added to an appointment.
Manage payment policies within appointments
If the client needs to pay upfront or provide card details to confirm the appointment, this will be shown on the appointment with the status.

To manage the upfront payment settings:
- Confirm with card:
If the client’s card details are required to confirm the appointment, click on the Quick actions (the three dots) next to the payment policy and Send a reminder to confirm. - Upfront payment:
If the client is required to make an upfront payment to confirm the appointment, click on the Quick actions (the three dots) next to the payment policy to Edit, Send a reminder or Remove the requirement.
To manage the upfront payment settings:
- Confirm with card:
If the client’s card details are required to confirm the appointment, tap on the three dots next to the payment policy section and Send a reminder to confirm. - Upfront payment:
If the client is required to make an upfront payment to confirm the appointment, tap on the three dots next to the payment policy section to Edit, Send a reminder or Remove the requirement.
You can choose to add a payment policy to appointments without the setting enabled by clicking on the appointment Quick actions (the three dots).
