Start processing payments both in-store and online through your workspace for a secure and seamless checkout experience. Learn how to setup and manage Fresha payments.
Getting started
Fresha payments is a paid add-on that’s easy to set up. Here’s what you need to know:
- It's available in select countries.
- You must be 18 or over.
- Some documents are required for account verification.
- You can set up different bank accounts for various locations.
- Standard processing fees apply (check our pricing page for details).
How Fresha payments works
Fresha payments lets you accept payments effortlessly, whether your clients pay in-person or online.
- In-person payments:
Accept card payments, mobile wallets, and other digital methods on any device. - Online payments:
Streamline your checkout process with a point-of-sale system tailored to your needs.
Before you can start accepting payments, you'll need to verify your business through our payment provider, Adyen. This involves setting up payment processing on Fresha by providing accurate business and bank account information. Once approved, you’re ready to go.

Signing up for Fresha payments
To get started with Fresha payments:
- Open Add-ons.
- Under Payments, click on View.
- On the sign-up page, click Start now.
- Enter a payment method and click Continue.
- Select Enable to activate the add-on.
Once activated, choose the account type for receiving payouts.
If you've already added a payment card under your billing details, it will auto-fill during signup.
Setting up Fresha payments
The setup process varies depending on your bank account type and business location:
- Sole trader, Sole proprietor, or Freelancer:
You’re self-employed or a freelancer with a business bank account. - Company:
You’re a company representative with a business bank account.
Disabling Fresha payments
If you decide to stop using Fresha payments, disabling it is simple.
To disable Fresha payments:
- Open Add-ons.
- Under Payments, click Manage.
- Click Options and select Disable add-on.
- Select Disable now to reconfirm.
