At Chameleon, we are proud to be detangling specialists. We are one of the few salons in Australia that offers professional detangling services as an alternative to cutting the hair. Using a combination of specialised techniques, patience, and care, we can safely work through severe knots, matting, and even dreadlock removal.
Please don’t feel embarrassed or ashamed — this is far more common than people realise, and we handle these situations regularly with compassion and discretion.
Investment: Detangling services are $150 per hour, per stylist, and this includes a deep cleansing wash, conditioner, trim, and blast dry at the conclusion of the service. Final pricing will depend on hair length, density, and the severity of matting. Multiple stylists may be recommended for extensive cases to reduce overall time.
