Solutions Focussed Hypnotherapy Single Session

Whether you've experienced an injury on the ski slope, on the football pitch, the athletics track or on court; whatever the cause of your knee pain we can and will help. 

We look to resolve soft tissue related knee pain within 3-4 sessions and to provide you with expert information to detail why your knee is causing you pain.  You will definitely notice an improvement in your range of motion and  pain free movement after a single session. 

During your appointment you will receive a full knee assessment which can identify ligament damage, cartilage damage or meniscus damage as well as being given a brief overview of how your biomechanics might be contributing to the discomfort you're experiencing. 

The treatment will include remedial massage and might also include medical acupuncture, instrument assisted soft tissue release and taping. These are all included in the cost of your appointment. 

Knee Pain / Patella Tendinitis Assessment & Resolution 

During your appointment we will fully assess your hip to understand why you are experiencing pain / symptoms and look to resolve them using remedial massage and medical acupuncture (if you are happy to receive acupuncture). 

You may be advised to explore coming in for a Biomechanical Review (see Services Menu) to understand what part of your movement patterns is causing the dysfunction so we can create a programme to resolve it long term. 

Anterior & Posterior Hip pain / Snapping Hip / Hip Flexor Pain 

Kinesiology Taping for Injury / Performance / Rehabilitation

We get excellent results from our treatment and often individuals experiencing achilles pain or shin splints can see them resolved in 1-3 sessions. 

During your appointment we will look at your movement patterns to understand why you are experiencing pain and then we will treat you with remedial massage and medical acupuncture (if you are happy to receive acupuncture). After you will be taped with kinesiology tape to offload the area and to allow you to return to pain free movement as quickly as possible. 

Achilles Tendinitis / Tendinopathy  and Shin Splints 

We have excellent results with our treatment of anterior shoulder pain and biceps tendon discomfort and our expectation is to help you to return to pain free movement within 1-3 treatments  wherever possible.

The objective is for you to return to your sport - whether that be a tennis serve, bench press, golf swing, weightlifting, gymnastics etc. as quickly as possible.

During your appointment we will review your shoulder mechanics and explore the movements that provoke pain or discomfort. From this we will then fully explain our findings and treat the area/s with remedial massage and medical acupuncture (if you are happy to receive medical acupuncture) and then tape the area for offload and support. 



Biceps Tendon / Anterior Shoulder / Upper Arm Pain

Usually single bouts of back pain can be resolved in a single session. Chronic cases (where pain has been experienced for longer than 6 weeks) may take longer but we do have very good results from working with individuals who are experiencing back problems.

During your appointment you will be assessed and advised of any alterations or adjustments to your working environment that could be beneficial as well as tips and tricks to ensure your back problems are not only resolved but avoided in the future.

We will use remedial massage and potentiall medical acupuncture to treat you as well as offering you taping to help moderate your symptoms and to get you moving pain free again. 

Lower Back Pain / Sciatica / Lumbago

This commonly misdiagnosed pain can ideally be resolved in 1-2 sessions. During your appointment you will be assessed and treated in both a laid down position and in a seated position to allow us to access the area that is causing you pain and concern. 

We will used remedial massage and medical acupuncture (if you are happy to receive acupuncture) and occasionally we will also use instrument assisted soft tissue release. 

After the session you will feel tender, but the pain symptoms you have been experiencing will have significantly reduced or subsided entirely. 

Depending on your working envornment this symptom may return and require occasional top up treatments but our aim is to furnish you with sufficient information to enable you to avoid the problem completely or to be able to self manage in the future. 

Mid / Upper Back / Under Shoulder Blade Pain 

If you regularly suffer migraines, cluster headaches, tension headaches or neck pain your symptoms can be improved significantly through remedial. massage and dry needling. 

During your treatment we will review the pattern of your headaches / migraines and then treat the surrounding muscles of your neck, jaw and shoulders to relieve the regularly and severity of the discomfort you have are experiencing.

Often treatments are immediately effective but in other cases monthly to six weekly maintenance appointments are recommended. In this case, block booking discounts are available to individuals who would benefit from repeat and ongoing intervention to manage their symptoms.

Treatment will include remedial massage and medical acupuncture (if you are comfortable with the use of acupuncture needles, it is optional rather than compulsory) and taping may be used to elongate the benefits you will receive from your appointment and to help with any postural adjustments that will help.

Migraine, Headaches, Neck Pain 

Plantar Fasciitis and policemans heel typically respond extremely well to treatment and you will normally see a 70-80% improvement in symptoms after 1-2 visits.

During your appointment and after assessment, you will receive a detailed description of why your symptoms are affecting you and how to resolve them going forwards. This will give you ownership of your symptoms and provide you with a toolkit so you can self manage at the earliest opportunity if they do reoccur. 

You will be advised in your appointment that you might benefit from a Biomechanical Review (See list of services) to understand what part of your gait pattern is leading to these symptoms occurring in the first place.

We will use remedial massage and instrument assisted soft tissue release to treat you as well as kinesiology taping to offload and restore fascial glide in your foot / feet.

Plantar Fasciitis / Policemans Heel 

Regardless of the length of time you have been experiencing shoulder pain, it can be improved and our aim is to get you to the point of being able to move completely pain free again in as fewer sessions as possible.

Depending on the severity of your shoulder injury it might require you to return for multiple sessions but in 30-40% of appointments we see individuals once or twice before their symptoms are resolved.

During your appointment you will be assessed and given a clear illustration of what muscles are causing the pain (if it is soft tissue related) and you will be provided with information and exercises to allow you to successfully rehab  your shoulder.

We will use remedial massage and medical acupuncture (if you are comfortable with the use of acupuncture) and your shoulder will be taped for stability and offload. 

Shoulder Pain / Frozen Shoulder / Adhesive Capsulitis 

Regardless of the length of time you've been experiencing symptoms, they can be resolved. Usually within just 2-3 sessions you will be able to move pain free, sometimes this can be achieved in a single session. The treatment will include assessment of your elbow and treatment using modalities such as remedial massage, medical acupuncture and taping. 

Tennis Elbow / Golfers Elbow Fix 

Rolled ankles are common in sport and in every day life and it is our job to get you back to pain free, confident movement as quickly as possible. During your treatment you will be assessed and treated with remedial massage and dry needling if it is deemed appropriate to do so. You will then be taped for stability and offload and given exercises to help you to return to full fitness and function as soon as possible. 

You will be advised that you might benefit from having a full Biomechanical Review (see Services Menu for further information)  to explore and understand where the weakness in your ankle is stemming from with the aim of preventing further injury in the future. 

Rolled Ankle / Sprain Assessment, Treatment and Taping (Single Leg)

During your appointment we will assess your hand and forearm to understand the cause of your discomfort before treating with remedial massage, medical acupuncture and taping. 

Hands often respond very well to treatment and our focus is on allowing you to return to pain free movement as soon as possible. 

We are also able to treat fingers that have been knocked or bent back during sport as well as advising on how best to rehab or protect the finger / hand whilst playing your sport.
