Emmi-Pet Teeth Cleaning is a new service offered by The Dog Salon Lincs.

emmi®-pet is a unique dental care system that is gentle, motionless and does not involve brushing or any abrasive action. This revolutionary method is based on the ultrasonic toothbrush and generates up to 96 million ultrasonic waves (air vibrations) per minute. These ultrasonic waves are then transferred, via the toothbrush head, onto emmi®-pet’s specifically formulated toothpaste. At this point “micro bubbles” are generated which react with the air vibration and implode.  These implosions effectively eliminate and remove food particles, plaque and bacteria from within your pet’s mouth.

Teeth cleaning

This is to ascertain whether your dog will benefit from having their teeth cleaned with ourselves and whether we feel your dog will be comfortable with the process.

This includes your dogs’ own toothbrush head & is a more intense cleaning to get your dogs teeth to maintenance level. This may take more than one appointment depending on the severity of the plaque.

A little trim to keep on top of your dog's fringe, feet and sanitary area

New places, smells and people can be daunting for our pets so we do offer a free meet and greet service for both yourself and your pet to meet ourselves and see the salon before your first appointment.

This is a short introduction to the salon and to dog grooming for puppies from 12 weeks (or when they are fully covered by their vaccinations) up to 6 months old. We aim to de-sensitise your pup to the sounds and smells of the salon to ensure that your puppy learns the best salon behaviour and so there is as little nervousness as possible for the new love of your life. If you are wanting your puppy to be a regular visitor to a grooming salon, we would suggest looking at our Puppy School course.

Here's the appointment you've been waiting for, your puppy's first haircut! 

Your pup will need to have had a puppy appointment with us previously to ensure they are comfortable with the environment and tools in place when we give them their first trim. (The reason for this is imagine taking a toddler to the hair dressers and expecting them to sit still through a full appointment without any previous idea what is going on, with sharp objects are close to their ears / faces. Scary thought? It is very similar with puppies.)
