I work in a relational style, aiming to build a strong relationship as the foundation of therapy. It is so often a struggle to find relationships that allow us to open up and really hear and meet our needs. As a result, I try to notice things like body language, tone and instinct to understand what is happening but also to make sense of what may have happened in the past. I like to work with the stories and scripts of life, those repeating patterns that seem hard to break through. I believe exploring these can shed light on the reasons why someone can get stuck.
