Graduates of David Burnett's 1000 hr training. The Bowen Technique is a gentle soft-tissue therapy based on osteopathic principles. It is applied to the body while the client is clothed. The therapy is a rolling-type movement made with the thumbs and fingers across muscles, fascia, tendons, and ligaments. It stimulates nerve pathways causing a ‘conversation’ to take place. The work is similar to strumming the strings of a guitar, the brain recognizes if the area needs to be 'tuned' based on the vibration that is created. Each sequence stimulates the body to correct itself.
