Patch testing is a short procedure to help identify what ingredients might irritate a person’s skin. Many skin care products contain chemicals, preservatives, perfumes,etc. that can cause an allergic reaction when a person applies them to their skin. By performing a patch test, this can determine if a product contains ingredients that may cause a skin reaction.

Patch testing involves applying a small amount of a substance or product to the skin and leaving it on to see if a reaction develops.

Patch Test (Pre-Treatment)

A basic facial is a skincare procedure involving removing dead skin cells, pore cleaning, & using a specific mask to treat common skin conditions if needed. 

Steps may include:
1. Cleansing -To eliminate any dirt & makeup on face, neck, and décolleté. Warm water with a facial sponge or gauge is used before drying the face and examining the skin. 
2. Exfoliation -Exfoliating lotion/scrub to remove dead skin cells & steam to open pores to remove build up.
3. Extractions -This procedure is used to unclog pores that have developed blockages due to excess oil production or dead skin cells, which can lead to acne and blackheads. Extractions may be done by hand or with a unique metal tool.
4. Massage -The face and décolleté are massaged as part of a facial with serum and cream/oil, which may help with lymphatic drainage.
5. Masks & more -The next step is the application of a customized mask, moisturizer and SPF

Wood Therapy - Customized

Wood therapy, also known as Maderotherapy, is a therapeutic body treatment that involves the use of specially designed wooden tools to manipulate and stimulate the body. The technique is primarily used for treatments such as cellulite reduction, body contouring, lymphatic drainage, muscle relaxation, etc. Wooden crafted tools such as cups, rollers, sticks, etc. are used to apply pressure to the skin and underlying tissue. 
The specific motion and pressure are aimed at breaking down fat cells, stimulating circulation, and promoting the removal of toxins from the body.

The treatment is generally non-invasive and may use of creams or oils, although some may be used for lubrication.

Before undergoing wood therapy or any body treatment, it's essential to consult a healthcare provider, especially if you have any underlying medical conditions.

Aromatherapy is a holistic healing treatment that uses natural plant extracts to promote health and well-being. Sometimes it’s called essential oil therapy. Aromatherapy uses aromatic essential oils medicinally to improve the health of the body, mind, and spirit. It enhances both physical and emotional health.

Aromatherapy works through the sense of smell and skin absorption using products such as these:
diffusers, aromatic spritzers, inhalers, bathing salts, body oils/creams/lotions for massage, topical application, facial steamers, clay masks, hot and cold compresses. 

Each essential oil has an array of unique healing properties, uses, and effects. Combining essential oils to create a synergistic blend creates even more benefits such as:
manage pain, improve sleep quality, reduce stress, agitation, anxiety, soothe sore joints, treat headaches & migraines, ease discomforts of labor, fight bacteria, virus, or fungus, improve digestion, boost immunity & more 

Aromatherapy Massage

Swedish massage is one of the most commonly offered massage techniques. It's gentler than deep tissue massage and better suited for people interested in relaxation & tension relief. 
This treatment may loosen up tight muscles caused by daily activities such as sitting at the computer or exercising. It can be very helpful for people who hold a lot of tension in their lower back, shoulders and neck
During the massage, esthetician use kneading, long strokes
and deep circular movements. These techniques are meant to relax you, stimulate nerve endings, increase blood flow and lymph drainage

During a traditional Swedish massage, your esthetician will use oil/gel for strokes along the whole body. You will begin on either your back or your stomach and flip over at the halfway point. If you have an area of particular concern, you can ask to spend more time in this area. Depending on your preferences, you can ask your ME to use light, medium, or firm pressure.

Eyebrow waxing starts with a thin layer of warm wax applied to the hairs you wish to remove. A paper strip is placed over the top, the wax solidifies, and gentle pressure is applied to trap the individual hairs. Then, the strip is swiftly pulled away, pulling the hairs out directly from the root
