the best massage I have ever had! Viktoriya is very thorough and you can see she is an expert and devoted to what she does. her home studio is very relaxing. dimmed lights, calming music, massage oil scents and everything is sparkling clean. Using spacious, soft and comfortably heated massage table, Victoria is using cushions and heat packs making the experience even more comfortable than you would have expected.  cherry on the top for me was a heated eye mask! I have honestly not felt this relaxed and refreshed in years and my back pain is gone. i have already rebooked for next week!

Deep Tissue massage is based on classic Swedish technique. 
 
The main difference between them is the speed, the amount of pressure and the “tools” used. 

Hands, fingers & thumbs are mainly used in Swedish; more “powerful” tools are added in Deep Tissue, like forearms, elbows, knuckles, fists - to target the deeper musculature and connective tissue. 

Strong pressure is used but it shouldn’t be too painful for you. The amount of pressure has to be exactly what you like, what feels “therapeutic” for you. I call this “good pain” or “relieving pain”. Anything above that - “ugly pain”, when your body starts to automatically tense up in response - must be modified to bring it down to the “good pain” level to achieve therapeutic effect. 

Deep Tissue Massage

Swedish is the most common classic massage style used to promote relaxation and overall well-being. 
There are several techniques used like effleurage (slow, rhythmic, continuous stroking), petrissage (slow, rhythmic kneading of underlying muscles), and tapotement (various forms of percussive touching/tapping). Light pressure is used to target the skin and underlying superficial musculature.
Please note, if you want full body massage, book at least 1.5hrs
