Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! Very selfishly I almost do not want to share how great Sarah is at her job...as it will make it even harder to get an appointment. So only tell people you love how great it is. Everything is thought of, heated blankets, lovely sturdy massage table  (Hand built by her very talented Husband apparently! ) not some silly rickety thing. Lovely smells, lovely music, air filter, lots of lovely plants. She really has thought of everything. And obviously an amazing massage. Truly she is gifted at her craft...go tell only the nice people! 

Sarah has a true gift.
The experience was one I have never experienced ever before.

Also known as “Classic Massage” – Swedish Massage is a routine combining 5 movements or strokes:

1. Effleurage – a long, gliding movement.

2. Petrissage – a kneading movement; working deeper into the soft tissues.

3. Friction – a heat-generating, rubbing movement.

4. Vibration – a fine trembling movement to loosen tense soft tissues.

5. Tapotement – a variety of rhythmical, percussive movements to increase circulation and muscle reflex.

~ The Full Body treatment includes the Back, Neck, Shoulders, Legs (Front & Back), and if desired the Feet, Hands, Arms and Scalp and finishing up with some lovely, light, relaxing work on the face – depending on your preference.

Each are conducted in sequences at the preferred pressure of the client, relaxing tight muscles and relieving tension.

If you're the type of client who *loves* for their therapist to take a little longer to help you relax - then this is for you! 

You could have 15-mins of some gentle scratching on your back/arms. 

I offer the use of an acupressure mat and neck pillow - why not take some time to melt-away on it before or after your treatment?

Using Jade Face Rollers, Gua Sha Facial Tools and/or light hair brushing/combing could be the *prefect* way to bliss-out as we finish-up with your Massage Session.

Or, how about being tucked-in and having gentle compressions applied to your body?

We could end your session with some lovely breathwork, hair brushing or sound therapy.

Indian Head Massage has been practiced in India & surrounding countries for over 1000 years & is a blend of both gentle and stimulating therapeutic massage techniques & its aim is to relieve stress and tension & promote general well-being.
Traditionally, Indian Head Massage concentrated on the head, scalp & hair, however modern massage practices & modalities frequently also incorporate the neck, shoulders, arms, hands or upper back.
This can be done either with or without oils – depending on your preference.

At Thirty Birds Massage, the primary focus is for allowing the client to relax, de-stress, unwind & reconnect their body with their mind.
Drawing influence from traditional Indian Head Massage practices, I have developed my signature slower, more relaxing sequence ~ designed to soothe & calm your busy mind.

If preferred, your treatment can also include hair-brushing & gentle, pleasant pulling of the hair to help achieve relaxation in the scalp.

A fabulous combination treatment where the client is gently & comfortably reclined and light soothing attention given to their head & neck, hands, arms, feet & lower leg: A *perfect* gift of calm for parents-to-be (2nd-3rd trimester only) or also for new parents, too! 👶

This gorgeous treatment uses heated, smooth Basalt Rocks in conjunction with the signature Thirty Birds Massage techniques to relax tense muscles by working the warmth deep into their tissues, encouraging you to melt away into blissful relaxation.

The stones are used to massage the body – along with the warmed hands of the Therapist using the 5x movements of Swedish Massage to *really* work on those muscles!
