Dry Needling is the use of small needles (the same ones used for acupuncture) inserted directly into muscle trigger points ---causing a controlled amount of healthy inflammation and a contraction-relaxation response in an overstressed muscle.  Particularly in the case of chronic injuries or pain conditions, this therapy can be incredibly helpful.  While one treatment occasionally works magic -- a series of 2-4 is generally most successful in the long run.



Dry Needling 

Injuries and/or chronic pain are treated using a combination of massage, trigger point therapy, dry needling, physical exercises and muscle (KT) taping.

This is for the client who wants the best of all worlds.  Combining techniques from Swedish, Sport and Medical, this massage is individual to you and your needs, and should treat problem areas AS WELL as leave you relaxed and re-invigorated.

Combination Massage

Medical Massage is a targeted technique utilizing trigger point therapy, soft tissue release, and passive stretches to help heal and improve areas of pain (either from recent or chronic injuries or general overuse)
The massage is given as part of a 1 hour and 15 minute full body Swedish massage, so you will receive both treatment and relaxation, not one in place of the other.

Medical Massage

Swedish massage treatments involve rubbing, kneading, and stroking techniques, and are meant above all to be relaxing and enjoyable.
If you are simply looking to unplug for an hour with a full-body treatment -- this is a great choice.  If you have orthopedic injuries or pain -- I recommend my Medical and Combination treatments. 

Swedish Massage

Sports massage involves kneading and grasping of muscles and other soft tissues, along with a lot of mobilization and passive stretching of the muscles.  This massage is meant to aid in recovery from work outs and prepare you for the next session -- If you are looking for deep tissue work and intense relaxation, this is probably NOT the treatment for you.

Twice the fun --- train with a friend or partner, with a focus of your choice.  This works great for boxing sessions but also for strength, yoga and more!

Pairs Personal Training

One-on-One sessions designed to help you meet YOUR goals.  I work in the worlds of strength training, boxing, flexibility, yoga and Pilates, and we can combine these or concentrate our efforts anywhere in these spheres.

I am additionally certified in Pre and Post Natal fitness, fitness for slowing Osteoporosis, and Sport Nutrition.
