A semi file removal involves removing a portion of the existing nail product to allow for a new application or to prepare the nail for a fill and to ensure no product bulking. A semi file removal is gentler on your natural nails than a full removal as it does not require as much filing or soaking on the natural nail.

To quickly remove gel polish, I lightly file the old product then i apply acetone soaked cotton balls directly onto your nails and wrap them in aluminum foil. If residual product is not removable after a 10 minute waiting period, i may also opt to use professional tools such as a nail drill for a clean finish.

A topical treatment will be applied to soften and remove calluses which are thick, hardened areas of the skin that develop due to repeated friction or pressure to allow dead skin cells to be removed with a combination of the remover and mechanical tools.
