This was my first experience of a lymphatic drainage massage (MLD). Before the massage I felt sluggish and my legs were aching and heavy.
 I am very impressed with the techniques Nicola used and how amazing I felt afterwards.  
Nicola is very friendly and professional and explained how the lymphatic drainage massage works.  
MLD is very healing and it felt wonderful to know the lymphatic system was being drained of all the unwanted toxins.

Deep tissue massage works to relax the body and release tension.  Combining slow, deep strokes and pressure to work out the knots from stressed, overworked muscles and connective tissue (fascia) to alleviate immediate pain, as well as chronic joint and muscle pain. It also promotes faster healing by increasing blood flow and reducing inflammation. During the massage, the muscles and tissues experience an emotional release just as they experience a release of physical tension.

If you have a specific health condition (listed below), the 30-minute initial consultation is required along with a signed referral letter from your GP/consultant before proceeding.

Includes MLD consultation to understand your requirements, work on a specific area to see how your body responds and create treatment plan for optimal results.

Based on the Vodder method for general wellbeing and lymphatic health. This is not a medical MLD treatment using compression aids.  

Seek GP/Consultant referral:
* Pregnancy (over 13 weeks)
* Recent surgery (within last 6 weeks)
* Long Covid, Diabetes, Low blood pressure, Thyroid, Kidney problems, Bronchial Asthma, Epilepsy, Removal of Spleen, Breast Implants, Organ transplant, Joint Replacement.

MLD isn't suitable for:
* During Menstruation
* Acute infection, inflammatory disease & fever
* Active Cancer patients or undiagnosed lump
* Malignant Melanomas
* Serious Circulatory Problems i.e. DVT
* Major Heart Conditions / Congestive Heart Failure

A 45-minute Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) Vodder Method session for general wellbeing and lymphatic flow health.  Includes upper or lower body MLD session depending on your needs.
