In the UK, eyelash extensions generally do not require a patch test because the adhesive used for the extensions is not classified as a cosmetic product that directly comes into contact with the skin in a way that would cause an allergic reaction. 
However, I do offer patch tests as a precautionary measure, especially for clients with sensitive skin or previous reactions to adhesives. The decision is ultimately up to the client's discretion, but legally, a patch test is not mandatory for eyelash extensions.
